For all the people complaining about not being able to put it back in the box later on, why not just disassemble the torso where it connects and remove the arm? Problem solved. I feel like if someone has the space to dedicate to storing a large box they can probably afford the screw driver and hour out of their day.
the stork AKA fedex just dropped off the bundle of joy..the shipping box was perfect no dents ,no crease no visible damage..metroplex box on the other hand look like it was in a war on cybertron..banged up is not the word looks like they stepped on the box or some shit.top crunched, bottom crunched corners and cresaed front.it was packed that way so dissapointing for a 125.00 toy..NO PACKING MATERIALS WHATSOEVER!!! going right back..already contacted them
As much as I love Metroplex, for me the true Jewel is Scamper. I love my Scamper. (repainted by Ruminus)
Yes. There should be the familiar slight "pop" as you fold it up flush with the windshield. Just be careful as you don't want to break anything by forcing it.
I figured I was missing something..thanks. I was just leaving him in robot mode and applying the stickers that way.
Well, it seems I did end up with a defective Scamper after all Edit - after playing with the screw in the chest a bit I was able get the hood to stay in place, but it seems the plastic on the windshield got cut to low to lock. Before the hood pop down and droop.
He is finally in my house! I must say, the city mode doesn't suck as bad as I was expecting. Robot mode is pure awesome. So cool to have this. Hasbro came through in a big way. Now, to buy every WST ever made!
I got this guy yesterday, and now the 5mm handle on his gun broke off in WFC OP's hand. Go figure. The whole reason I liked the gun was to put it on his shoulder and use it as a skyscraper. God damn it. I have the worst luck I've literally ever heard of with these stupid toys. SDCC Swindle, Twinstrike, among a lot more, and now Metroplex.
So a lot of people complain the city mode doesn't look so city. I worked out this configuration which I really like. Obviously I need to do a better setup, because this guy does not fit in a lightbox. To say the least: Also, this looks better in person. Hard to pull off the "city" feel in a picture, especially with out the proper setup.
I like him more and more. He's kinda like a mascot figure u can carry around lol. Anyone have a hts 15%code
I really want to paint this guy all super detailed, but man, I don't know if I can do it. Even the largest gash or scuff mark would show up as a tiny pin prick on the toy. If the wear looks too large, it will make the toy seem too small. I don't want to kill the enormous feeling of this guy. It's scary to think about. The paint would have to be near flawless.
