The words, "not making a large quantity" worries me because not everyone is going to have him. But thanks for the review now I'm going to get him one way or another.

Sucks that his face isn't painted silver like all the promo shots.

The packaging is terrible...He's just tied into the box? no Styrofoam or nothing? Yesh.
Looks decent but still somewhat cheap.
How much did it end up costing?

Actually Pyramidas is only about half as tall as Fortress Maximus. Not to mention Pyramidas is completely hollow, and lacks more than 100% bulk compared to Fortress Maximus.

Hollowness aside, Metroplex is still very much bigger than Pyramidas.

Actually given the my Pyramidas is next to Omega supreme he is at least 3/4 the size of Metroplex.

Don't say things like that. I makes me worry that never that my area won't get it in. Is this an exclusive or is this an open market item?

I hear the Takara version will have a proper cockpit instead of a sticker one.

Speaking of which, does Metroplex seem like he could wield two red guns in any other mode than robot mode?

Yep, they're supposed to be able to slide out:

Maybe that accounts for the stability issue?

Thanks for the review! The city mode looks pretty crappy, but the wheeled transport/carrier and robot modes look awesome.

Wow, impressive, though the stability issue is unfortunate it's consistent with every release.

    A few reflections:

    - I wasn't expecting a sticker sheet at all. I don't mind it, since it at least provides the option to include additional detail. Still, that makes me curious about the Takara version and whether some paint aps will replace what is stickers on the Hasbro version.
    - Scamper looks damned impressive.
    - I'm glad the white is "white."
    - I'm now really curious about what a potential SDCC version would look like (if it actually happens...still no word on a Transformer-only exclusive), from the 'bot itself to the packaging. Bonus stickers? Silver face? Chrome? Book-style box/carry-case, a la Bruticus?

This generates an image in my mind of some poor sap walking up to the cashier's office before
someone cuts down their significant other, than a friend of that person walks up, says "Snake eyes1975 sends his regards," and stabs him in the gut to finish him off while walking off with his Metroplex.

Please, answer this one pivotal question:

Does he say "METROPLEX HEEDS THE CALL OF THE LAST PRIME"? A Hasbro rep said he did, but I need conformation of this glorious information.

Hmm. On the one hand, I'm glad to get a new Metroplex figure, and I'll probably buy it.

But does it look to anyone else that neither mode, you know, transforms all that much? It might be really big, but it seems to have a transformation no more advanced than FoC Shockwave or FoC Grimlock. I can forgive FoC Grimlock's transformation because the robot looks like a robot, and the T-Rex looks like a T-Rex. But with Shockwave and Metroplex, calling them a full-fledged "transformation" seems charitable.

What other cool things does he say? If you don't mind checking, that is.

C'mon Amazon or TRU, open up some preorders for us!

Oops, my bad I've misread that it's suppose to be not making large quantity meaning if you're looking for him in the secondary market its going to cost you big money.
