Righty then, not sure where to put this thread, so I'll try here. Basically, I've managed to score a Generations Metroplex for a non-ludicrous price. No Scamper, no stickers, slightly yellowed, but the biggest problem is the main gun: The hinged handle part has broken off completely and has gone missing, so it can't be held or mounted on the shoulder properly. I thought I'd be content just sticking it to his shoulder with blutak and simply enjoy having a sizeable representation of Metroplex for my MP collection, and I can live with the other flaws. But the knackered gun is driving me mad.

I've asked around for a spare gun (no chance), looked for available upgrade kits (even less of a chance) and checked out shapeways UK for any 3d printed parts, but no luck so far. Soooo, does anyone have any ideas about how I can get some sort of fix for this problem? I don't have access to 3d printing, and I'm not handy enough to bodge something on my own, so am I stuck watching ebay and hoping for a miracle, or is there another option?

    Anyway, thanks.

You could use some of the heat moldable plastic (check Amazon) to craft a handle. It might not turn out as well as a printed one but it will be cheap and easy
