Redeco of generations legacy evolution voyager class Metalhawk now more in his toy colors. The greys and yellow-gold are darker while the blue is brighter. Red looks to be the same if not slightly darker? Joints feel the same overall. I noticed the lower knee hinge is looser when bending it in robot mode, but tighter when trying to fold it up for transformation. Maybe a QC difference between figures?

Overall there’s nothing new here. Some parts are darker or brighter in color. Some joints may be tighter or looser, but not too extreme to cause worry. I like the newer version better as the grey doesn’t look so toy like. Brighter blues also make the color scheme look better imo.

You should know if you’re the type of person to skip, replace or own both versions of this figure. Is it a lazy release? Yes, but I personally prefer this type of release than a straight package refresh.

 

Hmm. I'm worried about the yellowing of the original, now. Might be time to replace him, just in case.
