A little disappointed in this guy. He really should have wrist swivels, but the hollowed out areas (which are even worse than I thought), and chromed parts make me kind of regret preordering him.

At least his size looks to be perfect for standing next to my IGear Raptors.

    TCracker,
Could the nose be disassembled and remove the cockpit parts to replace with model parts so a HA figure could fit in there?

If so...THAT would be my most wanted 3rd party part. Replace the 2 seats with a single seat to fit an HA figure.

Looks like a nice figure, but there's something off about him.
Maybe he just needs some panel lining to break up all the white.
Otherwise he has the paint in all the right places.

Not a fan of hollow arms and no wrist swivels, but what can you do?
Chrome red weapons are ridiculous. Black/Gray would have been fine.

Even the evil doctor has trouble fitting in.

    And...

Even with the helmet on, his light piping looks awesome.

Nice review! It's a definite buy for me after seeing this. When I see the bottom of the jet I get reminded of HFTD Leader Starscream.

I emailed them. That seems shady as hell, but I am waiting to hear a reply about feedback when I hear from them.

Republic MI is WAY up in the U.P. I go to Newberry sometimes and that Area is SO remote its hard for me to wrap my head around the Idea that there is a business up there getting stuff before anyone else..

Great review. Hasbro has been going crazy with the chrome. Used sparingly its cool but used ridiculously with heavily handled weapons just doesn't work. That chrome money could have went into filling in the panels. I dig the SDF1 homage with those fold boosters up high; can they move forward into a firing position? Worried about the plastic quality and how durable he may be. Are the ratchets spring loaded at least? Also gerwalk mode... lol.

I expect most TFs to be a mixed bag anymore so I'll still be grabbing him regardless of popular opinions. At least he actually looks worth the money for me....movie leaders where both garbage for the price tags.

Nothing against those who enjoy them, perosnal opinion obviously.

I have to say TCracker thanks for the review about the Leader Class Jetfire/Skyfire and to be honest the chrome and the hollowness don't really bother me. And also thanks for letting us know about taking our time when transforming him without having stress marks or cracks. Still someone has stated that they don't hardly transform their figures and I agree with that person.

Yep, I'll stick with my classics version. It's a nice review but it only reinforces my earlier concerns.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Beyond Mortality too. I emailed him yesterday about cancelling some stuff and he was quick to reply and happy to do it.

He's being promoted on Jedi temple archives, too, which is a major site.

Also, he doesn't claim to be getting the stuff early... everything is pre-orders at this point...

That privacy policy stuff is definitely weird, though... I didn't read that...

EDIT: Investigating a little more... the site also a sponsor on JTA, the guy seems pretty active on the message boards, and people are vouching for him.

I agree that his prices are verging on too good to be true, but I don't think there's anything to worry about.

    size comparison

Hey TCracker thanks for the pics:thumb

Quick question how big is he; AOE leader class or ROTF leader?

I would like to know to see how he (or rather Leader Megatron) will look next to my Generations figures. I would rather him be more like the smaller AOE leaders so that he does not tower over my generations collection.

    Thank you :)
