By now, everybody have seen or know about the comic book that came with Rodimus vs Cyclonus BiS set. In the book all the characters have been made. Except Dinobots and Constructicons ( Frumble has been made United style).

I believe when generations pick up in march 2012 we will see them. Do you?

 

Maybe the dinobots but I doubt we will see some construction vehicles

 

Constructicons, don't care since they already did crappy Energon repaints of those, and if they made new ones they probably wouldn't combine. Dinobots, I dunno. I hope they do though. Better than obscure comic book characters nobody knows about.

Fansproject should totally do pirate dinobots to match the ninja insecticons.

 

We already got Classics Grimlock and the Classics Devestator (which could have been done better...). Don't see anything happenining with this.

 

I have a split opinion. I think we will see the Dinobots but not the constructicons. Hasbro tends to frown upon decent combiners.

 

Retailers frown against proper Combiners (or at least, the logistics behind them), and Hasbro has to cow-tow to them.

Dinobots are slightly more likely, but their unified colour palette is also a no-no zone, so if they start making them, they won't be made quickly. Like, one every half year, maybe, without any supporting media to bolster character recognition (like with Animated. And that benefited from only having three of them. And by sticking Grimlock in a Voyager slot).

 

My vote is yes, but to be honest I was never a Dinobot fan, and my OG Constructicons were a fragile mess as Devstator.

I would be interested in a good Devs homage (that isn't $600) but RotF Devs has me leery this will happen.

 

Mostly this. Hasbro simply won't churn out lots of similar looking molds one after another, or even in every other wave. We've had Grimlock quite a way back now and we might get a Swoop or a Snarl eventually, but that will probably be it. IMO, the only Constructicons we'll ever get in Classics is the ones we've already got.

 

Dinobots? Yes I think we'll see at least one or two, if not all remaining four, in the future.

Constructicons? That depends on how you ask the question, I suppose.

If the question is, "Will we get Scout/Deluxe/Voyager Constructicons of all original six that combine into Devastator from Hasbro/Takara," than I think the answer will be no.

If the question is, "Will we get Scout/Deluxe/Voyager Constructicons of some, or even all six, original members, but without the ability to combine, from Hasbro/Takara," I'll say that's a decent maybe. They have done redecoes/remolds of individual members (Drag Strip, Wildrider, DotM Vortex), plus a couple original molds (Silverbolt, Onslaught). You can redeco Constructicons into other characters, so they might be easier to get more bang for your buck than say, Shockwave (Mixmaster into Quickmix, Long Haul into Landfill/RiD Heavy Load/Energon Demolishor, Scrapper into Scoop, Bonecrusher into RiD Wedge, Scavenger into RiD Grimlock), so individual Constructicons aren't out of the question to me. I just don't think they'll combine.

 

I wish we'd get the rest of the Dinobots. At this point I'd even be happy with them as Deluxes, with Swoop as a Scout.

 

I really hope Dinobots are eventually release. I'm fine with no official Constructicons, TFC's versions are probably bigger than Has/Tak woud want to release and more importantly they combine.

 

We will get DinoBots, don't worry about it.

We most likly won't get Constructicons for a LONG time. Hasbro isn't ignoring 3rd party stuff and i'm sure they see two Devastator coming out by 3rd parties. So if they can't get all of 'Constructicons market' they'll aim at something else.

Honestly, as far as Constructicons go...I'd be happy if they just took the G1 molds & upsized them maybe 2x. ...maybe even add some articulation.

Arcee was in that comic too and there are no plans for her either. I'll just wait for 3rd party Dinobots it will happen sooner or later.

 

Hasbro said at Botcon that they had a surprise for December, when ask about a classic arcee...but they havent mention it since....someone remembers that?

 

I don't think so but, I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to put out a gift box of delude sized Constructicons. Simply to stick it to he people that bought 3rd company stuff.
