You're in the minority, man. Most people want the comic-related figures, which three of these are. Nightbeat is in the comics currently, but I don't think it's that body, but some will still want it just for the fact that it's a Nightbeat figure.

I hadn't realized how much remolding went into Jhiaxis. Doesn't look perfect since it was a design wedged in to save money, but I'll definitely grab him and the rest of the wave if I have the money  

New wings, head, cockpit, chest, and weapons.

 

This wave is either just Crosscut for me, or the whole wave. It is starting to grow on me, but I just don't know that I need the fan figure, have no draw to Jhiaxus (though it doesn't look bad), and think the nightbeat/bumblebee mold is a turd. But I am strangely starting to be drawn to these, maybe its the lack of product that I need on the shelves right now.

 

The Rattrap/Tankor wave is a complete dud for me but this wave is awesome! 2 jets! That's all I care about.

 

I'm buying Windblade on sight. Crosscut is a neat redeco/retool, I like that he got some characterization in his Dark Cybertron appearances. Jhiaxus is nice to get at retail even if it's an homage to his Beast Machines paint job. As for Nightbeat, I have Goldbug so I don't really want another of the mold. Shame they didn't retool his chest or paint it yellow. Good for his fans, hopefully.

Ahem, in other words, I don't check the site for a few hours and I miss my window of oppourtunity for Pre-Ordering Windblade. Well one of two things will happen. This wave will either be blink and you miss it in retail or not put out due to older stuff clogging the pegs, or it will show up a bit latter than anticipated, then be easy as heck to find.

I'm glad this wave is happening as I REALLY want that Jhiaxus; love the mold, awesome character. Kinda want Windblade just cuz she looks cool and she's a jet, and I wouldn't mind Nightbeat either (good thing I skipped two Bees cuz Nighty looks way better)

About time we got some news regarding Windblade and her wavemates, and Crosscut has been uncancelled.

Though I'm not sure if I'll buy Crosscut though, unless they have fixed the issues with Skids for good?

 

Okay, so BBTS deliberately upped the price on Windblade and she's the first to sell out anyway.  

Not that I use BBTS, but it gives me an idea of what to expect in the UK.

 

Crosscut was NEVER cancelled.

 

Crosscut, Windblade, and Nightbeat for me!

Someone on the TFW2k5 boards here pointed out that Crosscut's paint apps were picking out detail rather than blanketing a change of shade, and I thought that was worth choosing him over Skids for.

Nightbeat I think is the first time the Bumblebee mold has been used to good effect, but I'm more ready to see Nightbeat's car-mode 'generically' re-assigned, and I'm dead-set against CamaroBee - VDub or bust!

Windblade. Fan-Built Bot. FemBot. 'Nuff said.

It's tough to turn down $15 deluxes, but I'm skipping the Tankor/Rattrap wave, and skipped Skids/Waspinator as well.

 

I'll tell you what to expect: these figures won't be sold here.

Ordered the set of 4, so glad to be able to get my Diaclone Crosscut. Wish I could have ordered Slog separately, hopefully will be able to find one in the stores or hts.com.

I'd be more interested in Nightbeat if they'd used a different mold. I really do not like that Bumblebee. The head looks nice, though. So it's ironic that the only way I'd be likely to pick the figure up is if some third party creates a replacement Headmaster head. I'd be replacing the one part of the figure I already like.

They did a good job on Jihaxus' head, too. I'll consider it.
