Yeah, I wasn't pleased when they STARTED not offering singles of certain figures with DOTM. But with all the BB's and the case ratios, I understood.

That they're continuing that trend with case ratios as reasonable as this (shockwave) really is a black mark against them. If they're going to bundle every figure that might be even remotely hard to find on shelves, how does that help?

They're still my first stop for now (I do love their customer service), but if this is where things are going in general I suspect I'll start looking elsewhere a lot more than I do now.

It helps them not having to put those not-remotely-hard-to-find figures on clearance.

Pass. Jazz and Optimus don't look very good and Shockwave isn't good enough to pay for all three. I'd like to see what Takara does with them anyway.

This is true. But that still doesn't help me.

I already bought DOTM stuff elsewhere that I would have bought from them. It may be that they were better off losing my dollar vs. having that many more BB's sitting around they'd have to clearance (I know they were drowning in them).

Don't get me wrong, I still have a very high opinion of BBTS. They're just starting to routinely do things that go against my buying habits to a point where I'm starting to buy elsewhere far more than I used to.

BBTS is still my first stop. But every time I go elsewhere, it leaves me looking more seriously at the other sellers in the future.

$47.99 for three deluxes? No thank you.
Although, seeing that they're arriving in May makes me a happy camper.

All of that is easily rectified with pricing. Charge a low or close to market rate for easy to find figures and a MUCH higher rate for the hard to find stuff.

IF you do it right, you'll won't be left with excessive figs of anything. But it is much harder to get this right AND tends to tick off people as well. ;)

That's what they used to do. Maybe it wasn't working out for them financially, all the same?

Glad Shockwave is 2 per case.

Wish I could say the same for Arachnid...

You know, I'll second that. It used to make financial sense for me to buy almost everything from them...whole waves of Generations. It doesn't any more. Nothing against them, they are probably hurt by Hasbro's haphazard attempts to make the retailers accept pricing Deluxes $16, and certainly by their spacy case assortments.

Tempted to preorder but with this assortment it should be fairly easy to grab what I want.

Nope, right on schedule. These were always going to be in the summer 2012 reset. 40 Generations figure BY THE END OF 2013. Not IN 2013.

Typical, the one people actually want is only sold in the three pack.

I'll just wait till I can find these at stores to get them. More fun anyway.

Where are people seeing the Prime wave 4 case assortments?

Jazz and Optimus Prime look so freaking bland. Shockwave is still ace though

I think Jazz looks fantastic. I'm a HUGE fan of his War for Cybertron form, so this has been a must-get for me from the very beginning. Shockwave looks great and I like what they've done with him. Prime....ugh....I'll pass on Prime.
