Yeah his proportions are all wrong compared to the art same with their bomber megatron, I hope they fix these issues in the future and don’t make their figures overly blocky

That you can lengthen the arms for Gorilla mode or lengthen the legs for robot mode should sort out any innaccurate proportion issues.
I notice some images people have forgotten to do one of the other in either mode.

Has anyone made him an accessory set yet ? I'd quite like some forearm cannons and a mace for him too. perhaps some flame effects for his butt thrusters and some extensions for his (rather short) shoulder launchers too.

Other than that though I like him very much and he goes an absolute treat with the PE Lionizer.

I just got this figure yesterday and it looks GREAT

my only concern is the ab crunch, forward/back range on legs, and also the toes in bot mode are loose? has anyone had this problem? I will grant that it was probably in a hot truck for 2 days between ARizona and California so maybe that will solve itself, but i was wondering if anyone has had similar probs?

its in a pretty basic pose now and is stable so im not going to mess with it at all but if i want something more dramatic i'm a little worried about a leg sliding.

otherwise the thing is dope looking as hell

When I first received mine it was loose in certain areas of the legs/thighs and tight on the opposite side. I did not want to take it apart and add floor polish/glue or sand it. I initially disliked the figure because of this. However, I took a small screw driver and played around with the screws/joint tightness to my liking one day (didn't look into the ab crunch). The engineering is very well done and something as simple as changing the tightness of certain joint screws made a world of difference. I just started messing around with it again and love it. Couldn't do anything with the loose toes though, have to add floor polish I guess.
Good luck and let me know if it works out for you.

Honestly, as general as it is I want every T-Beast design in toy form. The stylization is very much so "up my alley" as a mecha fan and I can honestly say that the upcoming Sideswipe is the only transforming transformer I'm interested in at the moment.

Edit: The caveat is done by companies that do them justice. Stuff like Ancestrod I don't even count as existing so another company can definitely do Hot Rod over.

was just curious if you were also interested in that one, since you said t-beast was up your alley but sideswipe was the only one you were looking forward to. wasnt sure if you had missed/forgotten about/didnt care about that one

Got it. Honestly had never even heard about it until your post and I looked it up. Looks "ok" but stuff like the straight line slit at the wait for the waist swivel which looks to be the only torso articulation, sunken head, and generally thicker silhouette than the concept art are a turnoff. Reserving judgement for a more updated prototype.

fair enough :)  like you i am more or less all in on the t-beast designs, just love the unique concept of them so both bumblebee and sideswipe are two of my most anticipated figures currently

The Ancestrod thread on here would have better, hands on-accounts than I can personally provide.
