A lot of ratchets in a GT figure?! Am I dreaming?! Wow!!!

Very strange, because they avoid using them at all cost!

Now they have my attention!

 

In the beginning there's some Chinese characters saying that the waist will see some change.

 

Hooray!! That the only part I hate in this figure,really glad GT choose to fix it.

Interesting, I'm curious to see what they change. At the moment, I like how there's plenty of clearance for the hips the move all the way out and forward so hopefully that doesn't get hindered in the revised waist.

 

GT needs to ditch the light up eyes or at least include painted eyes. Everything of theirs looks so dead because of it. Anyway to communicate that to them?

Agreed, the gorilla has such wonderful metallic red eyes it's a shame the robot head doesn't. I wonder how Takara did it with their MP Primal? How did they get the eyes to still look red and metallic without the lights being turned on.

As i said before, i can not understand why GT starts with Optimus Primal.
Robot Mode looks very good, but Ape Mode not so much.

From all T-Beast Artwork Characters, in my Opinion he is the worst.

All other Characters are awesome somehow, but not Primal.

I have already pre ordered DX9 Rodimus, because he is just awesome.

But both GT and DX9 should not complain, if the Primal Sales are low in the End...

Many People here also said, that they want Soundwave and Wheeljack more above all others,
and that many Collectors are not Interested in Primal that much.

For my taste i really really want BOTH Starscream Birds, then i can Die happy and in Peace  

So i can only hope, even IF DX9 and GT Primal Sales are low, that they still continue and do all other Characters as well.
There is so much Potential for the remaining Characters, even if the Sale should be low
for some Characters like Primal.

From my Point of view, looking at all the Artworks, every Character has something "Special" to it, for Robot and Beast Mode, but Ape Prime does not.

I can only hope that both Companies will do ALL remaining Characters.
because i also want that Owl Soundwave, Lockdown, Starscream and Lio Convoy

 

I agree that bot mode is awesome, but ape mode - could be better, but still passable.

I'm happy that the price point for this is fairly reasonable as well. I feel like Generation Toy has been doing a phenomenal job with their releases. All very solid figures (maybe a bit fiddily) at price points that are expensive, but not crazy. I do wish they would incorporate some diecast into their products, but so long as they keep doing original takes on new characters, I'm in!

 

Ape mode look kinda ugly when stand on 2 feet,but on 4 feet?
Man~ he look good! At least a lot better than on 2 feet!!
