The only bit I really don't like is the missiles on his arms - you'll note I have tucked them away in my pics. They can pop off, but I just don't see the point of them, personally. Still, no biggie.

he does look amazing..tinted windows would make alt mode perfect and not hurt robot mode.

I'll probably get him although I'm mainly now in for 86 movie, the odd IDW and the Japan series characters. He survived the movie, so is fair play :)

They captured the character better than most characters have been captured.

Looks amazing. My only complaint is that he was scheduled for release in June and it's September already - just gimme!

Sixo, I'm glad you got a test shot to work your photo magic. How's the face sculpt in hand? The silver on it looks very grainy and flakey (otherwise perfect), but I'm guessing that's just because it's tiny and blown up for pictures. I'm looking forward to more of your pictures and a full review. Peaugh's review and other images have made this my number one anticipated figure of the year - with the delays, I hope he lives up to expectations. But... Jazz! And a modern Porsche! They'd have to really mess this up for me not to love it...

People keep saying that. Meanwhile, I'm looking at MP Prowl and wishing he were a 370Z...

Right? I mean, I grew up on G1 but the car guy in me would love to see G1-esque Transformers in modern cars instead of cars that are 30+ years old.

(Although the Countach was pretty bad-ass. Way ahead of it's time design-wise. Same goes for the Lancia Stratos).

Thanks, ambitron! Yeah, the graininess of the face is purely the result of using a macro lens.

If it helps, here's the same lens on MP Soundwave (which I believe you own?), so should show you how it enhances things!

Thanks, MT! Good to see you back. :)

More Sixo magic in the house, and thankfully on a bot i'm already in on.
Great work mate, totally vindicated on taking the punt on this now.

Thanks, Sixo! (And argh, I just read your Mightron review and am now tempted to replace Apollyon...) Damn this guy looks great. The face sculpt is spot on, really capturing the character. I hope he's out this month. In the meantime, I look forward to more pictures and your full review.

Thanks, matey! Yeah, loads more pics and a review to follow. Still need to finish my write-up on UT Allen first and then I'm on it.

    Mightron - yeah, he's pretty nice. :D
