It doesn't use pants or a whole fake torso, that's a plus. Any "combiner" that use fake parts go with my other lesser figures.

This set will join with the rest of my MPs

Really looking forward to this guy!! Can't wait to receive my shipping notification.
Looking at these recent pictures and the combiner port, anyone else think that he can be interchanged with Dragstrip or Dead End on TFM's Menasor? That's pretty exciting to me!
I also checked out the review by Chaos - at the end he posted robot and alt mode pictures of Groove. They look recent. Hopefully Groove isn't that far away!

I still need more info/pics on HotSpot and combined form, before buying any of these.

I agree, especially since we already saw a combined resin prototype. But since Hot Spot is the base, it doesn't matter how good the limbs look since they're really just attachments. Him and First Aid's trailers are the crucial points for stability.

But the fact that they've already got a painted prototype of Groove hopefully means they're picking up the pace.

I am already buying them, but I need to know more about the new locking mechanism used on Hotspot... If this new system is good and sturdy, then I will be buying two sets.

I’m buying these solely for individual bot modes and am in love with what I’m seeing so far. And that Groove? Hot damn! Not only does he not look completely stupid - which I would already have counted a noteworthy achievement in itself - but he actually looks great. Not the weakest link as I expected him to be. I’d like to see Hot Shot as well but for my purposes at this point I don’t expect to be disappointed. I kind of hope they get First Aid out before Groove though, he’s my fav of the team for sentimental reasons.
