I’m also a big fan of their designs, I’ve got warbotron and I’m currently in the process of acquiring TFM havoc thanks to a kind soul on these forums. I’m thinking about getting a gravity builder as well, but I think I’ll wait for hotspot to come out before I go in on these guys just to make sure the final product turns out as good as it looks.

After transforming them a few times now, I find that the quality of the materials is a bit hit and miss. Overal it is okay, but some parts feel really weak and almost brittle. I'm always scared if I put too much pressure on it. With figures from other companies, I don't really have this problem.

Yeap, a bit of caution is required.

yea, snapped off the little panel that has the foot pegs on it when I was transforming Groove, trying to get the damn feet all tabbed up right in alt mode, which if I remember right wasn't even tabbed up out of the box. was trying to tab up the tops of the feet to the forearms.

I hope GT will fix all the known QC issues by the time the box set rolls around.

Particular issues with the currently available limb-bots, or hypothetical ones with Hotspot?

After how long we waited, one would hope Hotspot delivers without and issues.

I heard that Blades were problematic as well. But then again I may not be able to afford this set, that's why I sold my Streetwise.

Blades was the only one I had an issue with. One of his landing skids was broken out of the box.

Has anyone had random breakage on these guys? I’ve had these two like this forever, and simply carried them upstairs to transform them to limb mode. Couldn’t find any videos, so I never did……. And so I brought them back, and saw this broken piece on the floor. No idea where it came from, but it’s obviously the same thin speckly white material:/

Not impressed with this thin plastic.

Happened to me too... It's from First Aid, it's a piece that goes under the hood of the alt-mode. It broke most likely due to stress, the part (where that piece come from) is screwed too tightly against another piece, which ended up bending the part and later breaking it.

a few months ago the same exact piece/thing “fell out” of my never-transformed-and-still-in-alt mode First Aid.

noooo idea what is is or what it’s for.

Oh. Oof. Is the piece important? Does it affect anything?

Not really, as far as I can tell, I never transformed mine, I believe it keeps some grey vents in place on the hood, but those pieces stay just fine without the white piece supporting them from below.

whew. Thanks. Yeah I still have the piece around. So worse comes to worse, I’d just .. glue it back I guess.

    But I appreciate the response.

I suggest you to loosen that screw up first.

Here's what mine looks like. I got mine used, so I guess the other half was already off and I hadn't noticed. To me it looked like the panel was too long and they didn't bother cutting it shorter. I think the vent idea makes sense, but I haven't had any problems without it.

Ouch. Pulled mine down and it's not broken off yet, but you can see that it's cracked. I'm scared to loosen it... don't want it to let go of the only thing holding it together lol

Same here. And yes, the exact same piece. It's from Bulance, somewhere on the front. It's not an important piece, but annoying nonetheless. The figures look cool but as I have said a while back, the plastic feels very cheap and brittle. Plus some pieces feel very loose, like Bulance's arms.
