Rather than a BAF, I rather have an amazing weapons pack like what Maketoys did with Striker Noir.

My other wild suggestion is design yet another new figure later that comes with anything need to fix QC issues (been known to happen). I think it would be cool if the new figure was Rook (committing purist heresy here) that would change into a big ass shield for combined mode and come with a boat load weapons.

I would love to see a 3P Rook, especially if it's GT, but if they have to release a new figure just to fix Hotspot after waiting so long for it, something is clearly very wrong.

 

Yea now that I think about it, having Rook get released as an optional limb for this woild be pretty cool. As long as GT is out of their slump and it comes sooner rather than later. Maybe after they do a standalone figure next.

 

Rook should become a mandatory limb option on all future Defensors

Same with Deathcobra and the Breastforce

 

Rook was the best thing to come from CW, IMO. It would be fantastic to have a rook option for combiners.

 

I liked Slash, Victorion/Megatronia and Orthia (Elita-1 and his girls combined).

Well, maybe more the concept of the characters than execution.

Maybe someday, someone will give us more high-end interpretations (hopefully, not in another twenty years for Prime Wars to move into the nostalgia spotlight)

Course, GT can't redesign now to add Rook.

Not because of further delays, they aren't bothered there.

But if they changed things to not use First Aid's trailer, he'd be very sad.

I was thinking they could have Rook be an arm. If he absolutely must be a leg then remold First aids trailer into a trailer for Rook and make it a tactical trailer.

I still would want rook to turn into a big police shield rather than a limb. He's an armored truck after all. He's well suited to the task and it wont upset anyone's head cannon.

Totally agree that he's one of the coolest things that came out of CW.

 

I'm all for the idea of a less pacifist Defensor, so Rook as a riot shield, baton, and tazer sounds really appealing to me

 

Rook could always split in two pieces and combine with Groove and Streetwise to make for a more solid lower leg part for the gestalt. Maybe even contain the feet.

 

Tazer?!?! Sounds like a job for a mini-con!

 

I'd love to see their take on Rook, I doubt it'll happen though. For now Wei Jiang Rook scales well with the rest of the team on my shelf.

 

Maybe, if we all shout "FIRE!", he will come?

 

Got these guys off of ebay recently and they are great. They hit that nice level of involvement in the transformation and are nicely stylized. I love the way GT handles extra parts for combined mode and integrates them, especially here. I've always liked Warbotron/TransformMission/GenerationToy figures and have finally been able to go back and pick them up with the recent boxsets. I just need the Technobot, which I have coming in thanks to @Razor24 and their sales thread.
