His backpack throws me off a little bit. It seems like it doesn't secure that well and just lays there

Got balance in today, looks great but mine needed a little from fine tuning

    1. Gun handle was in wrong way round so it wouldn't fit into the palm sockets- easy fix just unscrew it and turn the handle round.
    2. The part that locks the shoulder to the body was slightly off and wouldn't tab in properly, needed a little filing to get it to lock in properly.
    3. One of the arms was extremely hard to extend out of the shoulder, that's going to need a little more work to get feeling nice
    4. The shoulder rotation itself was extremely stiff and plastic squeakingly tight to work with, some shock oil into each of the mushroom pegs has fixed that.

Now I've fixed it I'm really digging him, feels nice in hand, transformation is quite nice and it's not heavy which should help with combined mode.

Caravan leg parts feel quite sturdy for combined mode, nice solid ratchets, 6 clicks to go from straight to a 90 degree bend

Got my Groove and Blades in this morning. A little fiddly compared to my devy bots.

Super disappointed how easily one of the skids broke, pretty much out of the box. Does anyone know if Gen Toy typically will send replacement parts? Purchased ones of course.

Waiting for a couple of figures to arrive at TFSource before I have Balance shipped to me.

Be very careful with the 2 rails that are on top of the trailer. While removing mine from the foam it snapped and I will be glueing it back on.

Got mine through today, and he's great, as I'd hoped for. If you like what GT has done to date, you won't be let down by this.

But getting to what I want to know... do we know how to put Streetwise/Sarge and Groove/Motor into their leg modes yet? Now I've got the calf pieces, I want to start assembling in anticipation.

Finally got around to picking up Sarge and Katana. They aren’t perfect, they sure are fiddly. But I LOVE the GT aesthetic. This is exactly what I want for my transformers collection: sophisticated modern updates. Both are well worth the money for me.

Picked him up today. Solid entry, and stands along with Streetwise and Groove for similar quality. Really dig how the combiner parts were worked into the trailer, nice way to make it a functional piece (rather than the full shell-former everyone is going with now). Looking forward to seeing Hotspot and how it all comes together (with full colors). 20190927_200646.jpg

Yep, all four have their combined modes in their instruction booklets.

Here's some random combiner parts or what I like to call, buying the DLC before the main game... 20190928_185845.jpg 20190928_185926.jpg 20190928_185930.jpg 20190928_185933.jpg 20190928_185947.jpg

Agreed, I can't help but feel this design was caught between a shift in combiner design methodologies.

Received mine today as well and he's pretty good. If I had to rate them, Ambulance would be slightly behind Streetwise in 2nd place, 3rd would go to Groove, and the Helicopter would be a distance 4th.

My biggest complaint would be how the shoulders tab into the chest and how easily they come unplugged because the shoulder rotation joint is just so darn tight.

Anyway, they are a good set overall but I will most likely swap them out for an eventual ZT or FT Defensor. And yes, I will probably give the MMC set a try as well.

The fact that Zeta is getting out of mediocrity is good, maybe their defensor could be nice. FT current direction means nice looking robot modes and alt-modes, but an action master combiner and I really don't like how that approach is turning out for Superion and Menasor.

didn't notice just how short the thighs are until I looked at @mustardcanbefun 's pics. they need to be longer from the looks of it, but if they are going the no fake thighs and waist idea they can only use what is available. looks a bit like he has thigh high boots on.

While true it would be nice for better hand integration I prefer how Perfect Effect's add ons for CW did it, making the hands turn into weapons for the smaller figures, cause I think hiding the hands in the arm bots runs the risk that it'll compromise the other sides of the figures, needing a large cavity to hide them in somewhere on the legs.
