True, if they both get pushed to next year, my wallet would celebrate. Other then Siege wave 5 and OS Slash, I have nothing else coming out this year to get, unless TW or Zeta drops their first Trainbot, or Action Toys ever brings out another Gobot.

My memory of the conversation was the opposite:
    - that for *some* collectors, MP is primarily a scale (and can be inclusive of many aesthetics)...
    - but for other collectors, they organize by aesthetic primarily (MP means Sunbow accuracy; GHUG means too many greebles), and scale matters for them a bit less.

And, you know what? That's okay.

Yep, me too. I've spent more than expected this year on this hobby. Butttttt, I would love to see color test shots at least before CNY so I know what to expect from their version of Hot Spot.

I dunno. Was there not an issue with groove or any of the others? I haven't received my bots yet ( in the mail, i hope) but i understand there might possibly parts that could be replaced. Again, there were parts with issues with the constructicons that they provided with the following release of a bot. Figured they would do the same with the defensor release.

Hmm, I don't recall any replacement parts needed on my set. Only issues I ran into was user error on my part. Since some panels are on the thin side, you have to be a bit careful not to create stress marks or straight out break a part. Other than that, it's all good.

@FiveThousand I've heard of some issues with Blades but I don't recall hearing anything about replacement parts being needed for Groove. Blades has a lot of thin, fiddly parts and lot of people got him damaged right out of the box, IIRC.

I will use this set as my MP IDW Protectobos and the eventual Maximus Pro as my G1 MP.

To me MP is a matter of engineering, aesthetics and scale so this will work for me personal preferences. Besides their alt-modes scale good enough with MP vehicles.

I have them all (Bulance is on the way), I've had no issues with any of them, but did hear of some versions of Blades shipping with physical damage. Other than that, dont believe there has been anything identified as a widespread defect.

Can attest to the thin, fiddly parts, but thank goodness mine wasn't damaged out of the box. The antennas and other rubbery parts on the outside of alt mode came warped, but I never cared to straighten them out. Otherwise all was fine.

Bulance looks good. Does Bulance's trailer have another function other than combined mode support and feet? Maybe something for bot mode?

It's hollow and as big as he is. About the only thing it could work as in bot mode, is a coffin. Or the ever-popular "ginormous oddly-shaped hand-held kibble-shield".

@daimchoc Great pics from iamonfire, thanks for sharing them. Looks like First Aid took a course in baddass-ery. He looks great! Can't wait to get mine, should be soon. I just wish there were a way to remove those forearm panels, then he'd look be damn near perfect. But even if I could get them off without breaking something I expect it would look janky underneath.

I usually try not to post twice in succession but I couldn't help it. For some reason the "coffin" thing made me do a spit take. Too funny. Hey, you could take it and start up your own Autobot Mausoleum! And too true about the whole "well we don't know what to do with this so why don't we just make it a shield" thing.

Does anyone who has Bulance and the other leg bots show picture of the combined mode for the legs if possible? Thanks in advance!

Cool idea for the lower legs. Something looks off with First Aid. I can't put my finger on it.
