Wanted to create a separate thread from the GB thread and make this specific on the not megatron figure.
    Post away:)

Here is a review by diecast17

I also had the same issue with the E-5(it was marked E-17?) piece. This is definitely a QC issue.
If you do build it make sure to connect the piece first then screw it on as stated by the Video reviewer.

I also have the DX9 mightron and think it's a far better toy due to extras and quality. But the megasorry figure was totally fun build up until the very last part of the build... when it cracked. :/
Hopefully this won't be the case with the regular tyrant figure and just isolated to the megasorry figure.

If broken, tamiya cement should be able to fix it.

I got myself the Tyrant figure separately with GB. Can't wait to fix it up.

Glue alone won't fix that. That type of break is likely due to shearing; you'd need to pin it first otherwise it'll just snap again.

    Ebay:
And remember, the transparent plastics are far more prone to snapping than normal.

The piece that broke is not transparent. So a spare part from the regular tyrant would do the job as a replacement part. . But that brings up the issue of QC if the same piece (E-5/E-17)will be an issue with 01G tyrant as the case with megasorry.

    Thanks for sharing.
I think I was too excited for Tyrant/Megasorry when I heard about it.
All I really want is for the gun to be intact and fit in GB's hand.
Glad to be tempering my expectations.

I got mine yesterday- couldn't be happier with it- he's the perfect Legends Scale Megatron. He'll look nice next to MFT Galvatron- that is, if MFT Galvy is the same size. Nice product though, well done. ^_^

Hate to thread necro so hard, but would anyone know how to contact Generation Toy? I got my hands on the Tyrant kit today, brand new, and opened it up to find it had duplicates of one sprue, and was missing one. I'm guessing at the factory they shoved in two of the one and none of the one I'm missing. =/

I had heard that these kits had sprues doubled/missing. I made sure my seller check inside before it shipped out (and they said the box did have the problem).
    Check with your seller first.

A big issue with him is the instructions to transform him are wrong and if you follow them, you will break the transformation joint for his right arm. Watch a transformation vid, because you can’t fix that part if it breaks since it is stressed during transformation.

Well, it's too late for that, and I was unaware it was an issue in the first place. And the seller doesn't have any more in stock. Hence why I'm trying to see if I can get some contact info for GT.

IIRC, GT/TFM don't deal directly with customers. You have to go through your seller or another retailer you've got a good relationship with.

Damn, that is ridiculously inconvinent. I have no idea what my sellers relationship is, or if it even has any.

    Sorry to hear that, man.
If I had known you were planning on getting this, I would have suggested getting the OP+Megs two-pack that's been selling for ~$40 on eBay.
