I like the generation mold and it goes so well with my collection. But the lack in weight and hollow chest is a big turn off. I had some free time today so I start working him. Now he has ab and waist articulation, along with added weight on both feet to make him feel more solid. Also patched up some area to make it less Cybertronian.

    Movements
Ab: 360 and forward and backward.
    Waist: 360 degree.

Next I want to add articulation on his dino head and dino arms and maybe a back cover. Finish it off with paint job. But it all has to wait til next time. :(

Hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Glad you guys like it. :)

It's simple actually. I have some Lego knight pieces laying around and it turns out to fix nicely (with some re-shaping). The tight ratchet joints allow it to hold some nice positions. Here are some pictures showing what it looks like inside his back.

I'm horrible at giving instructions, so please let me know if you any questions.

    1. Cut where the red line is.

    2. Cut where the red line to re-shape the lego pieces to fix the hip.

    3. I put 2 layers of 0.1cm styrenes, then drill a hole for waist movement.

    4. Added a peg on the lower ab to go into the hole in step 3.

    5. This is what it looks like once the lower ad section is completed.

    6. I used glue and screws to hold the Lego piece. (it is super sturdy now)

    7. Once everything is completed this is what it looks like. (the future back cover will peg into the hole at the back.)

Thanks Seali_me :)  I love your "FOC Prime with trailer" project. I found the parts for it and was going to start one as well, but then I thought to myself that Grimlock might be a easier project :)  Keep up on the "FOC Prime with trailer" project and don't forget to post your progress :D
