Having been on the top of the world after getting my A Level results on Thursday, I've finally got round to rebuilding (completely from scratch) my G3 Optimus Prime. I was satisfied with the old version, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. This, however, is.

[Edit] Newly re-designed model with far better hands and feet![Edit]

    Lorry Mode:

Robot mode (there are many influences on this model (aren't there always!). We have G1's legs, ammended G2 arms with Cobra Prime's guns, WWI TF scheme and the head is...well, take your pick):

The Matrix is fully removable, with carefully designed holding compartment:

And the obligatory action pose, showing off the entire arsenal:

    Stay tuned!

    Thanks for the comments!

At the top of the page you will find an updated Prime model with better hands and some brand new special effects!

The trailer needs a few teaks too, so I've taken it down for now. Don't worry, it won't be for long!

He's not exactly a fan character, but I've concocted a new bio that sets him in the G3 timeline, and condensed his function to simply 'sniper'.

    Stepper

“A loser is someone who valued means above ends.”

    Function: Sniper
    Alternate mode: Sports car

    Bio:
Aloof and acid tongued; Stepper is hardly the sort of person you invite to a party. His somewhat aristocratic nature means that he despises the chaotic nature of normal warfare, preferring the delicate skill and pinpoint accuracy needed for an assassin’s work. His dedication to his craft verges on devotion. Stepper views each kill as a work of art and demands appreciation for it. In almost every way, he is the exact opposite of Blaster, cold and unsociable, violent and systematic. The conflict between their personalities while confined in the same battle group led to a deep-seated hatred of one another that exists to this day.

    Abilities:
Subject is one of the most highly skilled Cybertronian assassins in existence. He can put a hole through the exact centre of an Earthen coin from a range of roughly five miles. Unique armour acts as both a sensor and heat shield, preventing most forms of detection from locking on to him. In vehicle mode, subject can achieve a respectable but not fantastic speed, as well as being able to deploy a number of anti-personnel weapons. Subject wields a variety of long-range weapons, ranging from laser lances to blade launchers.

    Weaknesses:
Subject has only average strength and is ill equipped for close combat, despite reasonable competence in this area. Psychological analysis has indicated a detrimental obsession with death and a tendency to be overly self-reliant. He is not a good team player.

    Car mode:

    Robot mode:

The next new models will be Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack and Wavelength, but expect updated versions of Blaster and his cassettes to appear soon!

So a quick question: what exactly do you mean by Generation 3? Like, third generation forms (first being Cybertron alt modes, second being Earth) or third generation meaning as in coming after G1 & G2 toylines?
    Awesome stuff, anyway.

In a way, the answer is both.

In the timeline I'm working with, the events that fromed G2 (the Hub's invasion and (possibly) the Swarm) occured chronologically pre-movie. G3 is set a considerable time after the movie.

And the 'upgrades' performed by the Primus Algorithum, a kind of program that controls TFs' evolution, gave every TF (that is, every TF with a spark) a 3rd generation body. Well, third assuming they were apapted from Cybertronian to Earthern. I've tried to combine elements of pre- and post-earth bodies into my designs.

    Thanks for the comment! :thumbs2:
