Looks like DNA Design DK-39 for Cybertron Metroplex just got released in Asia. However, there's a 2nd version with an extra red version of the bot figure. I've seen one Aliexpress listing where you can pick which version you want. The version with the extra red bot is more expensive.

Meh I dont consider weapons as upgrade kits per se... Weapons can be held by any figures... Upgrade Kits to me are very specific to figures and most likely wouldnt fit on other figures ;)

lol i do talk about those in the video... and... yeah... no i wouldnt get them... i like the idea of them, they look nice in both robot and truck mode... but they come with the top cab/shield which i really dont like... it looks like there's an Engine on the roof which makes No friggin' sens... they also come with kneepads... which i already got, and they also come with the square side tanks which i dont really like, i prefer the more realistic round tanks.... lol if i could get the arms alone by themselves i might get them... otherwise... nahhhh :p

Just paid my balance this morning on Show.Z. They only offered the version with both figures, but that's what I wanted so I went with them. $70 vs $50.

It also appears to be missing an undercarriage lol

It's a good start at least.

Yeah and the helmet looks weird. It's kinda why I think it might be best to just be a new headsculpt.

Multi-part Tim Heada set? Yeah, that's gonna be a QC mess. His unpainted prototypes always look better than the finals and probably fit better too.

That’s certainly been your experience. It hasn’t been mine. I’ll wait a couple months to see what all our options are, but I’d get this set if it’s our best option.

Agreed, best to wait because I’m sure others will try it now and who knows, DNA might (I didn’t expect others to do it).

I also got the “Magic Hand” Menasor trailer extension kit

it does actually work with the DNA kit, in theory to make a SUPER long trailer, but…

Like someone pointed out, it is a floppy mess in trailer mode and has nothing to stop it from collapsing in on itself, and the tabs are NOT sized correctly to fold up into blaster mode. Paint doesn’t match either

absolutely do not purchase, stick with the DNA kit, which isn’t perfect but fits better

I've been watching this for a while and looks like MSS released the 2nd part of their Leo Prime accessories (1st being those odd non-articulated spread out finger hands with cape). The sword they previewed is still missing from either set.

    Edit:

The next Go Better set.... oh, wtf!

Spike, uh, straighteners for SS86 Junkions

Yes, the instructions say to leave on for a week to straighten them out. Granted, heat will do that rather quickly, but yeah, this is a thing.

Arm fillers would be more useful.
and if you want to straighten them hold them over steam from a kettle for a few seconds (pretect your hands obviously) and then push them to the proper shape once pliable and hold until it sets cold. or dip them in just boiled water until the go pliable. then reshape and dip into cold if you like to set them quicker.

I wonder if you invert them if they could be used to mount the wheels on the arms at all. Back storage for wheels might be useful too.

I kinda wish better exhaust options existed too.

i feel ashamed, but will persevere, i have the same issue, i put so much add on kit on 1 figure, that the total cost become more than a titan.

and will do a commision paint and waiting for that nameless backpack retrofit

and also my favourite Megatron from 2 pack with Skelivore

Alternatively, do what I did: buy a second Wreck-Gar with straight spikes, remove the warped spikes from the first one, and add a Nonnef Rubbish conversion kit. Rubbish Sets

I'm sure you mean flat against the back, but SS86 Voyager Junkion bikes in bot mode can store the wheels on the handlebars. The softer plastic may not instill confidence long-term, but it works.

Oh wow I just picked up Prowl today and wondered if we'd get Samurai upgrade parts. The idea of armour on this figure kinda looks promising to me. I don't know if DNA would have a crack at it, have they done deluxe upgrades before, and if so are they only part of a set with other figures?

I can see Nonnef taking a crack at it, and if so I'd have to try and track that down which can be tricky as I'm in the UK.

I don't mind 3d printed stuff for fillers, weapons and minor things but whenever I get massive kits that cover a figure or replace parts with 3d printed pieces I often take them off in the end as they never seem to hold up, or stand out too much.
