Nonnef is indeed nice, but I think GoBetter edges Nonnef out by a very slight bit. Can't really go wrong with either, but Nonnef may be a little cheaper, too.

I think it will come down to one’s tolerance to 3D-printed parts. While I don’t mind it on small parts like the gap fillers, I couldn’t stand the large feet looking so out of place on the figure. Nonnef’s injection molded feet fit right in with the regular plastic quality.

The Go Better set doesn't fix the issue of feet hanging underneath in dino mode though. Nonnef and BDT both do. I have the Nonnef set and like the feet well enough. For people who can't get Nonnef products in their country, the BDT set is probably the best option imo.

It kind of does, though. They compress and are barely lower than the rest of the body.

I had the BDT set installed at first but the connection was so weak the toe sections came off every time I moved them. I basically took them off to transform it to prevent them from just popping off, and even then they wouldn't stay in place.

I was supposed to get the SXS Skyquake kit in the mail today, but I guess it'll wait till Monday.

Received the Renderform Divine Phantom Axe in the mail. Ordered 2 of them. They look great. Both had some minor handle warping that fixed pretty easily with a heat gun. One of them fit just fine, but the other had an oversized handle (~5.2mm wide) that wasn't remotely close to fitting in closed hands. 0.2mm doesn't sound like much but won't work in closed hand ports. Open hand ports will still work with slightly oversized pegs. Filed the peg down to proper size but that removed much of the ridge detail. I was offered a free replacement, which was nice. I don't think I'll do that since I can file new ridges in myself with my precision saw and file set.

There were also some freebies included. These are not considered suitable for sale. It's actually good he just gives them away for free instead of actually trying to sell them. From the standpoint of someone who does a lot of castings myself, yeah, there's warping issues with the freebies and the pegs for neither fit either (offset mold halves). Filed down those handles too.

The axes are pricy but well done despite one of them having an oversized handle. Purchased 2 of them.

Works well for current Voyager and Leader scale figures.

I wasn't expecting much from the freebies. The handles had warping and offset mold halves issues; needed filing to fit.

Go Better set fixes the major issues with both the feet and hollow belly without partsforming.

The Go Better set does fix the feet problem but in a different way to allow for clearance.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the latest Go Better sets but liked the Sludge one. Actually, they haven't announced a new set in 2.5 months.

No. Not like that at all. Saying "aks" instead of "ask" is a legitimate dialect of English, going back centuries. Emgo choosing, for whatever reason, not to say transparent or translucent is... Well, I dunno what it is, but its definitely a choice on his part.

Renderform makes good stuff, but it's a bit expensive, though to be fair resin is very expensive so I don't blame them for that.
It's just usually easier for me to buy 3D printed, so the oddities like one off weapons are usually the parts that appeal most.
I for some reason I really liked their marble effect weapons they did they looked very visually interesting to me.

The shape of that Axe is very much like a Bat so how about giving it to anyone Bat related ?
Like Titans Returns Mindwipe say, or Dracula X ?

Haven't seen the latest Dark-Ism heads on Mandarake yet. Saw this on Moon Base about restocking the sold out Flamewar head.

I went searching around on tieba and taobao after my previous post. Apparently Hasbro China has skipped their domestic release of Legacy Hotshot, Needlenose, Scraphook, Twincast and Metalhawk. The situation isn't as bad as Velocitron Galaxy Shuttle since they can still import from Hongkong or elsewhere, hence the one Supermake kit for Needlenose and Hotshot kit by Tim Heada. However, it may still deter makers like Shockwave Labs and GoGetter, since they rely on large batches for cheaper costs.

You may want to consider getting those two kits mentioned, or see what makers elsewhere have to offer.

Hasbro China is going to look a little silly skipping Scraphook if the rumour of it being a Combiner leg proves to be the case.
