Has anyone gotten the Impactor upgrade kit with the new shoulder gun? I am interested to see what people think about that new gun.

 

I just ordered one this past week. I can give it a quick review once it comes in.

 

I think I would like the leg rocket launchers for Scourge and Laser Prime, but not the rest of the upgrade kit. I also have many swords to choose from and I will tuck the trailers away anyway, so no need to upgrade those.
Or is there any seller that splits the set and sells the leg rockt launchers separately?

It's not lately. They've been overpriced with subpar (to downright awful) sticker quality for a long time now. I stopped buying their sticker sets just after Siege came out.

Sticker quality from any other group is much better. The difference is just night and day.

I'll still buy backgrounds from them...if they would just make more of them. I still want the volcano one but sold out in the size I want.

 

Was wondering if anyone could make 240z wheels for the Datsuns,specifically Watanabe Wheels? I saw LazyEyeBrows upgrade kit for the headlights to make it more 240z and think some Watanabe Wheels would be a bonus for the Datuns to go along with that.

Pardon if its been discussed and I missed it, is there any upgrade kit to replace Legacy Menasor's extra chunk of leftover plastic yet?

 

Not as of yet, sadly, as I am also interested in this. Just ones that turn it into a carried heavy gun.

 

Forgive me as I've not been keeping up.

But have there been any shoulder upgrades for laser prime (and Scourge) that allow his shoulders to move? I think there was neoinsta on Instagram and some on shapeways, but both are ridiculously expensive to the UK and not the best quality.

Just wondering if any of the usual upgrade companies have shown anything off?

 

Not a major (?) add-on company, but there's a thread in Radicons Customs offering free 3D print files for the Laser OP mold; shoulders are one of the offerings.

You'll need to wait a while still if you want an injection molded piece though.

 

I have, I like the gun even though it just goes up and down. The leg armor though interferes with turret rotation. I eventually plan on getting sets for all my impactors ( 1 squad of autobots and 1 of decepticons ). I do wish that set was colored to the Netflix version.

Speaking of other sticker options not that I used it much as I consider it underscaled but some internal stickers for Earthrise Optimus' Trailer might have some merit to the idea.

I just got the folding G2 rifle for Scourge/Laser Prime - didn't think much to it, the fold is to floppy so it can't hold it's shape in gun mode and it look rather silly plugged to the truck - if instead it had been mounted in two pieces it would have been way more useful as a gap filler for the truck and as a pistol to sit on or in the trailer - the worst part about it is that it doesn't fit in or on the trailer like at all for storage. In short it's about as useless as Legacy Blitwing's boxing gloves accessory for the same reason you can't do any of the things you'd want to do with it due to bad design.
