Been using the Dr. Wu Scout cassette drones in Netflix Soundwave. If anything, they provide additional chest deco.

Anybody see the Tim Heada Soundwave kit available lately? I’d love a set for Netflix Soundwave and the ones from other companies just aren’t as complete.

 

The gun kit is all I've seen lately. I've not had good experiences with my 2 prior TH purchases, so not buying another kit ever again.

The early Shockwave Lab kit is out of print and hard to find (the one with the arm covers). The newer one just has the shoulder pieces for more alt / fan modes.

Go Better has a new kit out for both Siege Soundwave and Soundblaster. Nothing for the shoulders but has the best forearm panels I've seen as well as knee gap covers. I would get one if they made a version for Netflix Soundwave. The arm parts would be the same but the knee gap covers would need to be changed.

 

So I pulled the trigger on this one from Ratchet Studios for Super Megatron. 58 pcs for $17 -- not bad!

I always think that shoulder canon, which can be printed on Shapeways, is essential for CW Menasor.

@tfsafari was kind enough to open their Tim Heada upgrade kit as a Made To Order item. Expect it to take a week or two to be produced before shipping, but easily the best kit for this figure. Your Soundwave is incomplete without it.

I was curious if the gap filler could be installed without the height upgrade and if anyone had any better pictures of what it looks like installed.

Yep. $19 at TFSafari. I would've been fine with just the spoilers, as that would also help with the Cordon and Spinout set.

I've pre-ordered the Takara Soundblaster and would like this upgrade for him. I know you can buy the shoulder bit separately and a different arm fillers also separate but its twice as much.

Shows that you have to remove a pin and she obviously won't be able to transform anymore (I mean her entire alt mode will be a separate piece after removing that pin).

I'd started customizing my ER Arcee with a 3d printed backpack but I think now I'll just wait for this kit. I'll probably have to buy a new copy of the figure, though, cuz I already filled in the holes on the backs of her calves and it looks like the upgrade calves slot into those holes.

If anybody can figure out where to order it, I'd love to know. Doesn't look like it's listed at any of my usual haunts yet.
