As I don't believe Go Better will ever do a Cordon and Spin-Out set, decided to try the repaint route. Took about 2 days to get through Cordon. Go Better has 2 tiers of finish quality: smoothing done and then no smoothing. This kit is of the latter. I actually went through the process of stripping almost all the silver painted parts with precision files and smoothed it down. For the other pieces, primer took care of that. I don't want to do this again, but after finishing Cordon, have to do Spin-Out next... Alt Mode: Bot Mode: Repainting the kit was painful. For Cordon, you want a bright white over yellow base to match the Hasbro white. Since the pieces already come yellow, that removed one step. Used Tamiya white primer spray which was a spot on match. Used Tamiya flat white lacquer bottle battle to brush panel lines and details the spray paint couldn't quite reach. Used Mica Silver spray paint for the silver.
