That's what sucks so much, it basically needs entirely new legs just so it would be able to stay standing. I would be very surprised if something like that could be profitable any more. Options used to be so limited for add-on kits, it kind of just seemed like a company could just make whatever, and even if it was really expensive, it would sell. Heck, that's the reason I'm making add-on kits now, because I really wanted a lot of them when I was little, but the money I would have spent on them could almost or would get me an entirely new figure, so I never was able to. That's why I try to keep my stuff simple and cheap for the most part, because I just think to myself "would 2013 me actually be able to buy this?". What would probably be a better route is just an entirely new CHUG scale Tracks.

 

Well I can confirm that Pulse isn't shipping jack shit. The only thing I've gotten from them lately was a message about how they're not shipping my G2 Ramjet for another week.

 

I've canceled almost all of my preorders with them, sadly. Even the Robosen Optimus. That money can go to more figures and have some left over.

 

I typically order from Pulse, Amazon, and sometimes BigBadToyStore, just so I have a better chance of getting something earlier, and then I cancel from the other two when something ships. I have had to cancel the entirety of Kingdom and wave 3 of Earthrise so far from Pulse, because either Amazon or BBTS ships first, or I'll just randomly find it at a Walmart. I thought I had ordered the Ark on Amazon as well, but I apparently never did, so I'm stuck waiting on Pulse for that at least.

 

Usually don't see a lot of label options for Shattered Glass. Saw this on Unclebilly and is pricy...probably due to being glow in the dark.

I'll have to try that. Using a soldering iron is neat idea to shift the pin.

 

I don't have the figure to tell exactly what the issue is. However, that person's technique made me cringe, despite the relatively steady hand.

There was definitely no need to heat up the small end of the flathead pin. I highly doubt there wasn't any melt damage on that end.

Yeah, that bit was strange, I didn't do that part. It kind of helped, his legs stay together a bit better now, and the front gaps in vehicle mode are less than they were, but it's still frustrating.

I think you just need to seat the pin in more. Likely better if you used an L-shaped soldering tip to reach the pin head from inside the calf. My Tracks also have loose legs. I'll try to pinch the pin in with pliers and post if I get any success.
