Never hurts to ask. Yeah snapchat is kind of stupid. I think its like you send a video of yourself talking instead of a text. It seems like overkill. Like if I gotta prove im the one who said what I said, pointless. Facetime or Instagram doesnt make sense either. I hate when I see two guys beefing with each other from their bedrooms on instagram live...it just seems wrong.

 

Maybe comic books shops can mix business and pleasure, but the one who runs the local comics and games store near me said he wouldn't care if his shops burned to the ground.

 

Given the massive cliff the comics industry is diving off of, he may not have to wait long.

 

better than giving out your real phone. if the person is a huge jerk , you can just block them. i know you can block numbers, but a number is so much more personal and riskier. area code gives away where you live and such. id much rather give my social media than my phone number. if it gets serious, then a phone number is given. its more meaningful in my opinion.

 

You can also get a lot further with a cell phone number if you're trying to get into/around someone's 2 factor authentication. QR codes and tinfoil hats for everyone.

 

I guess being in my early 40s I didnt have that option when I dealt with dumb chicks in my 20s. So its kind of hard to embrace it now when I dont need it. All the people I talk to are generally mature.

 

Toxic people can come from all around the world, even Canada. No offense by the way. Generally be nice and don't be annoying and you'll be fine. I've been on social medias since SMP and not once has anyone brought up my nationality. To most people it doesn't matter where you're from.

You can block a phone number and the texts that come with it. If your carrier won't (Verizon does, for at least 90 days), Android, starting with Oreo/8, allows you to send a number/texter to spam and/or block them outright. There are options.

 

Mini Rant:
Why in the F#ck do ppl keep sending me offers on eBay when there is no "OBO.!?" Another annoying issue is when they message me "Hey this is all I can pay/have and am interested.." and I'm thinking "Well that looks like you're not buying this item then.!"

I would ask if the seller can put their item on hold while I come up with the money to pay what the seller is asking for.
But I feel that that is too much for me to ask. First come first serve, you know?

 

I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but I have been burned by that at live toy shows more than a few times. Put the item under the table while they "run to the ATM" and they never come back. Once I started asking for $1 down, that stopped cold.

For best offer, it's a double whammy. eBay/PayPal is already taking a huge cut out of the item, shipping, and now taxes. And somebody wants you to take another hit on top of that? Come on. Seriously, I'd cut prices 10% off eBay and 20% if they'd forgo PayPal too.

Since I've been stuck at home for 2 months, there are a few things I miss and some I do not miss. I was with my dad heading to a nearby Walgreens to pick up some medication and a traffic light is still the longest red light. 3 freakin' minutes waiting to switch to green. Not only is it a waste of time but a waste of gas and a waste of money. I want to complaint to the city but I don't know where to start.

Worst, when we made it to Walgreens, my dad was told he has to wait until tomorrow to have his pain medication to be ready. He needs it for his osteoarthritis and the pain in his shoulders and neck. I have my own pain meds but they are not as strong has his but I gave them to him anyways. I can find alternative ways for my physical pain.
