Chicken chaos as KFC closes outlets

 

Yeah, for my work we just got an email that management finally realized that working from home for the most part had zero impact on productivity and in some cases increased it, but noted that there were 'some' people who didn't adapt to it well and in very professionally toned words suggested they attend "productivity coaching" sessions being coordinated for some time in the future.

Though they also mentioned they'll try to rearrange the way desks are at work to be more 'socially distanced' for those who prefer working on-site, and that's the real bitch because they're scheduling people to come in and move their personal items so desks are easier to move around. Telecommuting has been an absolute godsend for me because I live an hour away from work (would have preferred closer but there were other benefits that came with the distance amazingly so it wasn't ALL bad), but at the very least they're going to pay me for the time to get to work, pack up all my crap, and drive home.

 

Are you my clone? That's EXACTLY what I always get! Though I haven't been back there in ages due to quality of service (and to a lesser extent, the food) having gone down....

 

I got overly blackened chicken in my Alfredo at an Olive Garden once, I didn't stop going to Olive Gardens and was rewarded with better prepared food on average at other OGs.

And clone? Not unless you're a chubby ugly guy who likes French style cheesecake a little too much...

 

Heh, well to be fair, what they call "lobster" should be in sarcastic quotes on their menus... and in their name.

 

It wasn't just 'one' bad experience here, but a noticeable decline over the years at this particular location (which is, unfortunately, the only one in our area). Change in management...and the franchise split from the parent company it once shared with OG, had an affect as well. A gradual change that was more noticeable to us since we only went a couple times a year.

Fun Fact about me.! Red Lobster is the only place where Ive choked on food before. To make matters worst No one in my family knew what was goin on. I literally coughed up a Shrimp and it landed on the middle of the table. Anyways continue on 

 

To the first part: it always sucks when a place like that slips. Doubly so if it didn't slip and gets closed solely for falling out of favor. I have to go three states in either direction to get Carlos O'Kelly's.

On the second part: managed to creep someone out AND ruin a random bonding moment. Haven't lost my touch...

 

Damn bots getting EVERYTHING, beat me to all the SDCC pops I wanted, I won't even speak on the Target Joe stuff. Well not all of them, I did score the one I really wanted, which was the invader zim one, and I got the amazon jet trooper so I guess it wasn't all bad. I hate I missed out on Clawful though.

 

You know? I friggin hate uber's and lyfts. Around my area, there are rarely any around after 5pm. Uber decides to raise the price to around $40 for the cheapest option (one time it was $80!) And lyft drivers are usually better priced but will drop your lift 3 minutes away because they are also Uber drivers and want more money....

...i miss when the F bus would run after 3pm.....

 

Been w/o power for (2) hours now. Seen (4) EPA trucks trucks running around trying to find the issue!!?? Plus its still 80 degrees outside w/ no breeze.    

 

I'm jealous. The weather here is usually 90+ and feels like 100+.

 

To hell with Uber, I think of it as the "taxi killer"

 

I ended up cancelling the update last night. Things are fine now.

An actual rant here but anyways it’s about being called gay for every fucking thing you do like I was called gay for liking nerdy stuff instead of sports like dude who cares what I like mind your damn business and I’ve been called a man baby for liking transformers it’s super annoying at this point
And also a teacher who I really extremely disliked is coming back to my school once my my school reopens and I swear to god he loves to make our life a living hell and even worse he’s going to be taking my exams and even worse is my dad is putting me in this school for another year ( which is not that bad because I’ll have a lot of free time ) but I really don’t ever see that teacher’s face again and also my favorite math teacher is leaving or already left which is extremely sad because he was really nice

 

Wouldn’t joke about that mate. Shit like that actually Happens...

....But on the flip side, if you like comics books and transformers that’s perfectly fine. Don’t let other people sway you away from what you love.

I see three clusters of letters there, but they don't seem to cipher into words for me. Especially in context.

I've never had an Olive Garden overly season anything. In fact, I'd pay extra to see what they did to make overlay blackened chicken. I love blackened chicken and blackened salmon. When I make my own at home it's practically crusted with a 1/8th" layer of blackening seasonings.
