I wasn't at Botcon this year, so I have no idea what this guy will actually look like in color, but I decided to try anyways. Just a real basic idea just to see how the figure would look like in Skullgrin's basic color scheme. At the very least it made for some good practice with gimp.

I'm also getting more hyped for him. The mold is designed more with Straxus in mind, imo, but I think the odd colors of Skullgrin oddly work on the mold nicely. Especially with the alternate head-sculpt.

 

I like it. When I find this mold I'm grabbing both versions: Minion from Twisted Metal was my first introduction to an AWE Striker, and I like em. I wonder if this color will be sold in Japan as "Dauros," the Masterforce name for Skullgrin.

Sounds like a pretty cool name, assuming I'm pronouncing it correctly, lol (I'm not familiar with many of the Japanese names for TF characters).

Great stuff. I hope he ends up being this colour scheme - it'd be a great tribute to the original.
