Huh? Leader class exists to fill the need for large toys.

But both should have been Leaders. Hasbro is correcting their mistake.

    ... I really don't get the question.

What slots can't be "filled" for which "legal reasons"?

Why are these slots filled with Leader Class figures?

I really have a hard time trying to figure out the logic behind this assumption.

I'm guessing the "legal problems" he's referring to are Megatron's traditional gun mode and Jetfire originally being a repaint of a Macross toy?

Not sure what the Leader class thing has to do with that, though.

Let me try and decode this...
You think the leader size class only exists so they can release large toys they otherwise wouldn't be able to at a smaller scale?

I'm with you. If that's the OPs point, Leader Megatron is not even a gun and Leader Jetfire isn't a Macross toy.

Plus both of them have been released in the past with no legal issues (GDO Megs and Voyager Skyfire)

If the legal issues are copyright infringement, size is irrelevant. The only other legal problem would be Megatron being a life-size life-like gun. He's not.

Honestly, what I want to see from a Leader Class figure is an Ultra Magnus that has Minimus Ambus inside him AND turns into a Car Carrier AND has a MTMTE-inspired robot form.

That and Overlord/Star Saber, because if MTMTE is to hijack the Leader Class, then go full throttle.
