Yeah, I like repurposing designs I like as characters not already in toy form. Like, again, the G2 CW stunticons and aerialbots are MicroMaster stand-ins. Prowl is just too Prowl to call... say, Clampdown.

Isn't it though? Does save me money on occasion.

Just got the preorder balance invoice from Kapow for Rebel. They estimate he’ll be in stock on or around the 21st.

More and more of these MP IDW figures come out, and it's driving me bonkers. MMC used to semi-scale with Generations and I felt like they were good high-quality re-ups of IDW characters from the comics. Then guys like GT and GCreation come around and make stuff like IDW Prowl at "MP scale". In the meantime, I feel like MMC's offerings of what would otherwise be considered "deluxe" class figures have flopped into Voyager size... or roughly base MP size.

I'm sure this is just my perception, but in my quest for a pretty comic book cast display, I feel like the official Hasbro and TT guys are getting phased way, way out which is a serious problem for my obsessive nature and wallet as I feel compelled to continue to snatch up the pretty new IDW style figs and STILL collect the official Hasbro/TT lines..

I've basically split my IDW collection because of this, into MMC at Chug scale, and MP scale, I bought Generation Toy Prime so I could put him with Rebel, luckil the IDW MP stuff is coming out more slowly!

Yeah, but what a slippery slope. I'd have to pick up this awesome looking Prowl, then go back and get the MP Prime and Bomber Megs...

Got my invoice earlier today from ToyDojo.

Here’s hoping I have him early next week.

Ah, dammit. Looks good enough but I'm not sure if I want it in that size.

What an awesome set for photos! At first I was thinking, jeez, the price of all those Lego modulars would be in the quadruple digits... then I realized it's probably "unofficial" Lego too.

All at once it would be awful. I think we actually have all of those. Since only one gets released a year it hasn't been that bad.

That's actually kind of inspiring, excpet that the TV behind is doing the heavy lifting as far as the look of the shots.

My favorite TF Prime figures hang out on the streets of ours. The lego detail is just about right for that comparitively underdetailed asthetic. Unfortunately in our current place we're short on space for the modulars. In our last place it was a boarderline 3d city.
