    No, no you misunderstand, perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I know he's based on Don Fig's design, what I mean to say is that that design has no artwork matching the stance of the silhouette, so it must be GCreation's own artwork/render for the figure, implying they are already some way into planning this guy.

    I apologise for any confusion. :)

    Ya, I figured that out after-the-fact.

    I think that's true of all the silhouettes up there.

    His vehicle mode would be this then.


    Looks like their Optimus, Bomber Megs and Ultra Magnus all belong to this Earth arc.

    I don't think that is the case, I believe the other silhouettes are taken directly from these artworks. :)

    Are these sophisticated 2D comic designs even meant to be able to transform properly in 3D toy form? I know some of them facilitated for Hasbro toy designs, especially for Generations and Combiner Wars.

    Don's original artwork exaggerates the proportions of a lot of the characters. Thankfully, GCreation seems to be modeling their figures from the way the characters look directly in the various comic panels. That's why Prime looks so good and hopefully the rest will too; because if they made the figures look exactly like Don's concept art, they'd look incredibly weird

    As much as I love MP Magnus, he has a lot of weaknesses (lack of waist rotation, overly-bulky forearms, elbow joint within his bicep instead of below it). Looking at their Prime, I'm excited to see their Magnus' proportions most of all. I think they're going to knock it out of the park!

    I thought I was only into MPs based on G1, but these are too beautiful to ignore.
