Another IDW inspired product from GCreation. It's most likely Starscream, but it's safe to assume we'll be seeing the other seekers too.

The thing I don't like about these is the size.

    *sigh*

Either way, I look forward to seeing their Seeker design.

Yeah. I'm fighting the "MP IDW" urge myself. I really wish these were voyager/"large chug" sized. Sigh.

    But man. Seriously.

I was/am happy with my raptors from iGear ... but you know these are going to be awesome/better ....

Yeah, I'd really like a great set of Seekers, and that Prowl, Drift, and Sixshot look so damn cool.

Damn MP size ruining all my fun. :lol

If these are MP sized, no thanks. Stylized designs like these belong in CHUG territory, in my opinion. More power to you if you think otherwise. MP scale is just too big for me and what I'm going for.
Doesn't really matter. I've got my eye on the Maketoy's inevitable CD Seekers. But it's always nice to have options.

This has the potential to be amazing. Their Optimus is a little off to me but Prowl looks great so I'm optimistic.

    These aren't random stylized designs.

They're IDW comic book designs. Which, in MY opinion, are vastly superior to G1.

Though I WOULD have loved these in voyager scale.

I can't stand it anymore though. Just pre-ordered their Orion Pax and will end up getting everything else :/

I'll need to see some reviews first, but I don't think I'll be far behind you. :D

Tsk tsk, why can't people be as strong willed as I am when it comes to not buying things?

*looks at very long preorder list of upcoming orders*

Whoops, never mind....nothing to see here. ;)

I really don't care about the size. That seems to be the thing where it is impossible to please everyone no matter what size they're made, so I'll let them do their thing and see what happens. Scale ranks somewhere around "toon accuracy" at the bottom on The List of Things I Care About.

I'll be keeping an eye on these. I'd be curious about which IDW design it is, since they have looked different in every series, sometimes looking different within the same series depending on the artist of that particular issue. Given that IDW has done a few hundred TF issues now, "IDW design" means almost nothing; it would be nice if they referenced a particular series or issue. It would be best if they referenced the particular artist, although I know that can't really happen with the toy packaging and promos, but maybe board discussions could keep those references prominent. I have no particular favorite, any and all of the IDW artists' seeker designs have been cool, some more than others. Anyway, end meaningless rant: It continues to be a great time to be a seeker fan, by mid-year I was wondering if we were going to get much out of third parties and now most of them have something seeker-related in the works.

These designs are my favorite. But they don't look like this now.

They're all shitty, lazy, slight retools of Jetfire.

So they changed bodies (again), because HasTak is greedy and wants more sales as per usual (not unusual for a business intended to make money, but it's beyond stupid with how much they milked the CW line).

Oh. And because they're shitty, lazy retools of Jetfife; they somehow grew in size also.

    HasTak!

I'm well aware they aren't random stylizations. But the IDW designs have roots in G1, so compared to those designs, yes. They are stylized.
(But I agree. Much prefer IDW designs over G1)

Regardless, my point still stands. They won't fit into my collection, so these will have to be a pass for me regardless of how cool they may end up being. Must practice restraint otherwise I'll have no money.

Very interested in a good version of this seeker design. With Toyworld and Maketoys also doing MP seekers, this makes it a golden age for planebots!!

Yeah, between MT, MMC, and a few official Hasbro figures I had a nice CHUG-IDW shelf going. Unfortunately it seems like that's being abandoned by everyone but MMC. And now GC and GT are bringing out MP-IDW lines. Not really sure what to do here; these are really tempting.

Those are pretty awesome, if this is what they my are going to turn out like I could be very tempted by this.
