A good choice for Butcher. I hope this gets to cover the whole series. There's so much crazy crap they can do.

I feel they'll have to reign in most of the over the top vulgarity and perversion...buthcer's rather liberal use of a certain 4 letter c word and some of the hero names....tvMA or not "the blarney cock" needs a name change

It was an interesting story and all but at parts it was too much

Never cared for "The Boys" all that much.

 

We already got that, it's the Walking Dead. badump bump.. only less ....ENNIS. and ya know... EVERYTHING.

Honestly, I feel like this is one of those series that's going to have to make a lot of censorship and writing changes with the current atmosphere. If people had a fit about Sansa Stark's "wedding night" imagine the outcry when they find out how a certain someone gets recruited into that Super Team...

 

Just watched the first ep, looks pretty good so far. I'm not quite sure what accent simon pegg is going for though...

 

Binged season 1, it's not bad..less drag than Netflix Marvel but there were slow episodes being only 8 episodes. I don't know why any short season do that. Normally when you watch a network series with 22-24 episodes they have better pacing like The Blacklist.

 

Just binge watched this series and it's pretty good. The dark humor was spot on and the cynical world view of super heroes would be pretty much how it would really go down if super heroes really were a thing in our reality, I think, right down to the sociopathic tendencies and crass commercialization of it all. Looking forward to Season 2!

 

This show is great. Easily out-classes the DC Universe shows AND the Netflix Marvel shows.

We’re halfway through the series, but should finish up in a day or so.

 

Glad to hear it turns out well. I am only two episodes in but so far so good. Considering how much I hate Seth Rogen I’m pleasantly surprised.
