I am okay with my current unicron. This will be rediculously expensive, and the kibble, it's everywhere. Maybe good for the cartoon it's from, just not for my collection.

True, but for anyone who has a beast wars neo collection this could be nice. Albeit absurdly expensive.

This is so full of win. I have wanted the BW Neo Unicron for so long, ever since I saw an article about him from an old Toyfare Magazine. I am preordering this as soon as it's available.

I like the head sculpt. But the fact that he's a shellformer turns me off

Some people forget people actually buy Transformers because of "rule of cool."

My eye is on this one. The other eye, on my wallet. We'll see.

Unicron has such a strange design that I don't foresee anyone being able to design one that looks good in both modes. The original G1 prototype and the BW Neo prototype both make severe comprimises in robot mode to allow for a better plant mode. The Armada version compromises the planet mode for a better robot mode. Personally, I prefer the Armada approach as I display my Transformers in robot mode.

That said, I am greatly impressed by this Unicron. We can argue back and forth about the aesthetics of this design. But I think that most of us can agree that this is a great recreation of the original prototype. For those who truly wanted Beast Wars Neo Unicron in their collection, this must be a dream come true.

I recognized it as the unreleased version from long ago, but ... why? This is a turd. Probably will cost an arm and a leg too.

Looks good. I have no need for it. I don't see it going for less than $300... $400 more likely.

As someone who is a HUGE fan of the Beast Era, this is pretty much a dream come true coming from 3P. Always wanted one of these since I first heard about it years ago - hopefully we'll start seeing more love for the other eras.

And yeah, it's big and full of kibble, but it's gonna look awesome.

I always wanted a G1 unicron, I'll stay with the takara one, this one is not for me.

The rings in the mouth are strange to say the least !!

Yeah, he doesn't really have a mouth (because of the ring)- the beast wars proto does.

I have a laundry list of things it doesn't quite satisfy on, but that mouth really is the biggest deal for me. If he actually worked as the planet eater I might let a lot of my other gripes slide.

If someone made a better G1 Unicron I'd probably be very interested.

I don't think I'm interested in this guy. I'll decide when color pics are shown, but I doubt color will be enough for me.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This isn't just about getting the best looking iteration of a character - and that's not saying this doesn't look good, it does - but it's also about being able to get a figure that for so long was seen to be unobtainable.

I agree perfect is unlikely. But Primus did it so much better than Unicron, I still believe a similar approach would probably be the best way to go. This guy I guess does that, but there are probably too many odd details to excite me much.
