This is amazing. I was able to see the BW Neo Unicorn when I went to Tokyo Game Show in 2012. It was glorious.

Can not wait to see more of this. Definately one for the collection!!

He looks great and I'd love to have him. But judging on prices of average size 3rd party toys he's gonna be waaaay too expensive for me

500$ is not fair, it is greedy. Even the Light up Gimmick does not justify such a Price

I just saw in a Video, that the 15" Age of Extinction Optimus Prime from Comic Cave Studio will cost 350$ (and he consists 75% of DieCast)

    SDCC 2015 - Comicave Studios Transformers Figures - Transformer World 2005 - TFW2005.COM

Holy Grail for Fans or not, they should keep the Price fair.

He is Huge, yes, but other Figures of that Size (see Optimus Comic Cave)
will sell for a much Cheaper Price.

Many Fans are waiting for this, so i hope there will be an Update soon.

Well we don't KNOW what the price is gonna be. $500? $400? $300? Ten cents? We'll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile... someone should color this prototype in Photoshop so we can see how it might look once painted.

I wonder if this'll even be more than $200 actually. It's probably not full of die cast and the parts count is probably lower than your average 3p figure.
Anyway one thing I never noticed on the BWN prototype till looking at it again just now is the fact that there are obvious sets of 3 missile holes in it. It's clear as day Armada Unicron lifted the idea from there, but after seeing it and being unable to unsee it I feel like it would've been nice to have something like gun barrels on Garatron's piece if not outright projectiles. Perhaps it's because I've always loved Armada Unicron's toy and design but it's a detail that I really wish was on here.

Lol, his ring looks like he's barfing and the vomit is taking orbit

I am very interested in this release though, so here is hoping that I can afford its final price

You have no idea the costs involved in design, mockup, production. To call a company greedy with no information, not even a price, is rediculous. Stop it.

I love how everyone immediately jumps to "Oh no! The price! NOOOOOO!" when we have no idea what the actual price will be. We only just found out that it exists and is a thing.

We have to see it progress and let the company find out exactly what figures they're looking at to make this a reality. Then, and only then, will we find out what price it's going for.

Instead of speculating and saying things like "OH NO!", which leads into "Oh yeah? Well I'd pay..." which gives these companies terrible, terrible ideas.

Just once, I'd like to see us say nothing about the price and watch what happens. Input's great to a certain point, but then turns into a disaster once it gets out of hand. Which is usually around the 3rd post point.

Judging by all things considered such as size, density of the plastic, possible paint applications configurations and etc.
I estimate the cost at $325.

    How does he stack up?

Like all of us, I'm giddy over the Garatron announcement....but...it begs the question, How DOES the Supreme class Unicron still tack up all these years later? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hB2Y54Y-FQ

I wonder if someone will take a crack at Unicron and Primus' sister Gaea.

TOTAL PASS. My Amazon (G1 Animated Movie) figure is near perfect for me. This new fig looks very kibbly and blocky (for a sphere LOL).
