Brave King Gaogaigar Goldymarg HyoRyu EnRyu GekiRyu J-D - eBay (item 400138981885 end time Sep-22-10 16:37:21 PDT) ..won in the lottery and want to start and finish a collection at the same time? here you go!
Why are people even batting an eyelid at the prices? They're not particularly small boxes. I don't think it's that bad a price at all; if I had the money I'd be tempted.
Because, right now, readily available, you can get: GGG and Goldymarg for about 90$ + shipping King J-der (and maybe the only "real gem") is about 200 at max. Dragon brothers in total maybe 70$ each so 280$ Big Volfogg you can get for about 50-60$ (not evilbay) Mic Sounder 13 is actually about 45-60$ (if you know where to look) I don't know the base, I don't know who'd care for it. But it totals up to about 690$ and right now the auction is 789$. Its a "fair deal" if you don't want to deal with hassle or don't have connections to asia, but piece-wise its easier to nab for cheaper price. I always thought the rule of thumb is that when you sell a giant lot it should be cheaper than what people sell individually. So in summary, to me this is a slightly over priced deal. I can get them seperate cheaper. And also to many brave collectors, we don't need the entire GGG (people probably have some already)
Yup looks quite justified to me considering they're Brave toys (with huge fracking boxes). besides from the pixs most of' em are still in pristine condition. Some ppl just dun have the time to go & look arnd for cheaper deals, so auction like this makes it more convenient for them to complete it at one fell swoop!
well, it means 2 things: (sorry I didn't know you were looking for an answer): First, searching on evilbay. I don't know how you do your braves search, but I have several lines that I type in each day, and sometimes you get some pretty nifty results on ebay. (for example a 20$ tri-bomber that I had, or a GGG that iirc sold for under 30$, in the states) Other than that, I personally use yahoo auctions HK and look for sellers that like to ship internationally that has most of them. (that and there are also board members that visits there that can help)
