    Any recommendations?

Looking at CoD 4 for it but I'm not sure if I should pick it up for PS3 or the 360.

    You mean Uncharted: Drake's Fortune?

CoD4 actually performs a bit better on the PS3 than the 360, from what I've heard.

It's a PSN title, but Everyday Shooter is great.

    Overruled!

Lair is great! Its a real shame the people decided to slam the game just because they sucked at the controls. That said, this game IS more for people who enjoy games like the Rogue Squadron series.

I will however have to veto Dynasty Warriors Gundam. Hated it from what I played. If you must play one of those button masher type games, totally go for Genji: Days of the Blade. Ive found it to be pretty good and fun for one of those button masher types.

Also, Uncharted is good. If you enjoy Ratchet and Clank, totally go for that. You might enjoy Ninja Gaiden Sigma if you missed it back on the Xbox. Ive not played any of Assassin's Creed yet, but I am very interested to as I hear good things. Everyday Shooter is fun for a PSN game, but I have not played Super Stardust HD which looks to be somewhat similar.

The camera in genji days of blade sucks.

Dynasty warriors gundam is cool if a: you like gundams and b: you like dynasty warriors games. If you don't like both(this isn't a one or the other thing), skip it.

Lair sucked and I was good at the controls. It's not the only reason that game was bad, and it's almost irritating everytime someone mentions it sucks, to have someone else say "well you sucked at the controls" or equivalent.

    cod4
    ratchet and clank
    assassin's creed
    uncharted
only rent heavenly sword(still fun, just don't buy it)

I see Assassins Creed keeps popping up. I tried that game for the 360 and didn't like it.

People didnt suck at the controls, the controls sucked at the game.

and the camera for genji REALLY sucks. a lot of the time it's too damn close to your character for you to see anything or maneuver worth a damn.

You don't know why we slam the game, don't dare generalize. I personally hated the sixaxis controls and while I was able to beat the game itself did not satisfy, so like I and others have said, rent before you buy Soundwave.ca. I do totally agree with you on Ninja Gaiden, a great game if he has not played the original.

Well, it looks like I trolled correctly tonight...

Also, I agree about the camera in Genji sucking, although it does not make the game unplayable or anything. Im just suggesting that game over the Gundam game for the "Dynasty Warriors" type of gameplay. I found Genji fun while I found the Gundam game very boring. Also, again, the camera sucks, but on the plus side, the game has some pretty visuals.

And I stand on my love for Lair. Maybe its because I also really love the Wii, but I found the Lair controls to be pretty good (save for the 180 turn). Its hard to explain with this game, but the controls work very very well when you dont realize you are using them. Also when getting into the game, you absolutely realize that you're not flying an X-wing or A-wing or even a car. You're flying a dragon which feels like a flying tank.

Even after playing the game and trying for all gold medals, I will have the occasional moment where I am already totally engrossed in the controls and something will happen which will make me want to turn. My gaming mind says "Why are you not using the controls??!??!". My thumbs will react and end up throwing the camera all over the place. When you have that feeling where you were completely engrossed with the controls, it feels really really good (it also makes the 180 work correctly which is weird).

That's correct, but only if the game supports it. resistance and ut3 do.

Only if a game allows the kb/m to be used. That said, the only game I know of that uses it is Unreal Tournament 3. I would recommend that game based on my past experiences of the UT series, but Ive not played it yet (and I would get it for PC anyway).

I've been playing Uncharted: Drake's Fortune a lot. Fantastic game that has been really overlooked by most game buyers. I've also been enjoying Ninja Gaiden Sigma even though I played the original to death.

Nah, people sucked at the controls :D  . Granted the learning curve on this game is nowhere near what people are used to, but I control that game with a lot of finess and (in the words of The Last Starfighter), I simply don't fight the controls. They can be really smooth if you don't fight or swing the controller around like crazy. I agree a bit about the camera though and yes, there are time when you slam against a mountain and the camera goes nuts, but I beat the game, and by the time I got to the end, I was controlling that thing without a problem.

I do admit and would tell anyone that it's a love it or hate it game, and I would recommend renting it, and playing through the tutorial, multiple times if needed, as well as not relying on the lock on too much because the dragon automatically shoots in the direction of the highlighted target (I only use lock on to pick up barrels and latch on to beasts as the game does the rest for you.

I honestly would not play the game with the analog stick if it were offered as a patch... But honestly, I wonder why they didn't patch it, to allow players the option at least.

I've beat that game so many times and I still come back for more. It's just such a smooth play.
