If they made a new mold for a leader class Megatron for the third movie, I'm hoping that will transform into tank AND jet mode, I'm think about painting him black and purple, adding new pieces and calling him Galvatron. Anyone thinking the same idea? Because I can't imagine a Transformers without a Galvatron.

It would probably be neat if they did a Galvatron, but if they don't, I think I'll live.

Wasnt Megatron supposed to be called Galvatron in ROTF? They dropped Galvatrons name so it wouldnt confuse the public. But then, there's alot more confusing stuff then names in ROTF...

I don't want Galvatron sullied by the movie aesthetic. Let's leave him out of it.

Leave rebranding out of the movies. Its confusing enough without a plot.

Where's the "Maybe" option? I'm open to it if it looks nice; if it's not than I'll pass and if it's never made I'll deal.

I kinda don't really care, if he's Megatron cool, if he's Galvatron, cool.

I just want a good Megs/Galvatron toy. The ROTF toy is getting close but, it is nowhere near the quality of ROTF Prime. It seems he always gets the shaft.

Yeah, Megatron was supposed to have been Galvatron in spirit.

Of course the bots looked very similar and the personality wasn't noticeably different, so really that went about as far as giving him a tank mode and rebuilding him from spare parts.

On the other hand, that is more acknowledgment of the source material than 80% of the characters get. Look at Wheelie, Skids, Bonecrusher, Ironhide, Frenzy, etc. These were all just names pasted on designs with almost no meaningful history or design elements carried over from the originals.
