I finally got around to repainting this guy from FansToys. I thought his color was too grape and he should be a more lavender/blue like the Headmasters or blue/lavender like the movie. I still thought the FT-16M blue was too dark also. I also painted Cyclonus's face, upper arms, and thighs to match his headmasters appearance (better then spending $200 on FT-29t). I will have to touch up spots and spray clear pearl over Galvatron too seal it...but the hobby stores are closed for now. The on-line stores want too much, plus the shipping!!! 20200409_003425.jpg View attachment 28593471 20200408_011603.jpg 20200408_174021.jpg 20200409_003136.jpg 20200409_003404.jpg UPDATE!! These are the finished photos of this project. Just needed some touch-ups and the clear pearl spray paint. Made a world of difference!! Now all is well..

Okay, you wanted criticism, you get it. A lot of places without paint. You did not remove the original coat of paint, which is why the work looks more rough. Apparently, you applied paints with a brush, because the first photo shows strokes. Well, at least it was possible to disassemble it for painting. I won’t even talk about the primer. You could take care of everything when you work with such an expensive figure.

The figure is not finished, That's why it, in your words, "looks rough". As I stated in the post, when I get the clear pearl spray paint, do some touch ups. I will look better...

Tamyia purple, white, and blue for the Galvatron. Plus tamyia clear pearl for that FansToys metallic sheen.. The same for Cyclonus" upper thighs and upper arms, just different amounts of each..
