I love me some Titanmasters. Well, Headmasters really -- the Japanese style idea of them, to be specific. Anyway, since the original Apeface Transtector is now a pet/jet/gun, I figured Spasma needs a new one.

Meanwhile, I never liked the Generations Galvatron mold -- really, who did? But as it turns out, the purple on the face of Titans Return Spasma ("Apeface") is a perfect match for GenGalv. To complement the toy's orange "skeleton," I swapped out the head and arms of Infinitus. They're not a perfect color match, but they're close. (Worth noting: the other purple parts on TR Apeface/Spasma is a slightly lighter shade than the back/face and the GenGalv toy.)

Of course, Headmasters are supposed to have a way to drive their Transtectors. As it turns out, GenGalv's right arm can be folded out in tank mode to serve as a sort of seat for a Titanmaster. It's not perfect; and the missile launcher serves as Spasma's seat back, but it works well enough for me.

Anyway, I removed GenGalv's head, drilled a hole in the orange base, and plugged Spasma into it. Easy custom. In addition I drilled a 5mm hole in the left hand, so as to be able to hold mini-Apeface in gun mode. Sadly, the wrist is too loose to support the gun, it keeps flopping down. Gotta reinforce it somehow. Oh, I also stickered over the tampographed "GALV-25," and painted silver over the red abs to match the other silver highlights (and to do away with the only remaining feature that screamed "Galvatron").

I might change Spasma's arms and head back to his originals, I dunno.

Thanx man. I know it's a bit of a lazy/ghetto custom, but I like 'em fast and easy. The less paint the better!

Thank you gents! I'm glad you dig it. Super-easy custom to do, too. I'm thinking I might remove the sorta ghetto stickers from over the "Galv-25"... Maybe use a different set of stickers, or maybe just leave the original GALV-25. Like, perhaps Spasma inherited Galvatron's discarded Generations body? (At a lesser power level of course.)
