I sold a Galaxy Force First Aid Korean version on eBay. The buyer reached out to me, complaining that the Korean version should not have Gold shoulders (painted in the front). I bought this MISB from TfSource years, and years ago. It was never opened, and I'm struggling to find the difference between the Korean version, the Japan version, and the American version.

I've attached the images for the box/item I sold. It's definitely confusing. On the front, they have art that clearly shows the toy with gold shoulders. Yet, if you look at the back, they clearly have a picture of the toy with blue (non-gold painted) shoulders.

If the wrong toy was in here, I need to make it right with the buyer, if it's the right toy, I need to help them understand why, and either way I think I need to explain to them why there's a difference in the box art.

Can anyone help me understand, point to data, one way or the other on what should be expected with the Korean version of this mold/toy?

    Appreciate the help!

From what I remember, the Mocom (Korean version) uses the Hasbro Cybertron color scheme on the toy (gold shoulders), but recycles the Takara Galaxy Force box art (which pictures the blue-shouldered Takara Galaxy Force version).

I'm not 100%, but give me a bit to try to find some proof.

Edit - photos of Mocom First Aid showing gold shoulders (like yours):

Also, here's the original box art from the Takara Galaxy Force release (courtesy of Transformers Galaxy Force GC-11 FIRST AID TAKARA Figure | #2107463274):

which shows that Mocom simply re-used the box art with no changes that pictures the Takara version of the toy and not actually what's inside the box.

Also, just for fun, when you run it through Google Lens, a portion of the text on the back of the Mocom box translates to: "Photos and illustrations may differ slightly from the product."

Thank you @engledogg! I had never used Google Lens and was just now able to sit down at a computer and take a look at it. It's so cool.
