And I really dont understand how a few tweets about a movie is condemning her to idiot status, even with this lackluster commentary she comes off as more inelegant than half the people making jokes at her expense in this thread!(What was up with the cell phone comment?)

Seriously guys some people dont like the movie! She could be saying YOU guys are idiots with shit taste like other reviewrs, but shes not. So dont hate on her for having an opinon.

Also, saying "most women aren't funny" isn't really being sexist, per se. I didn't say "men are funnier than women". My statement was regarding the quantity, not the quality. For the record, I find lots of women talented and hilarious. But broad appeal comedy (no pun intended) is much harder for women to achieve than it is for men to achieve. That's why "The Hangover" didn't break any new ground, but "Bridesmaids" did.

I love a good Transformers movie trashing. Yeah, I digged the movies, but not being a fanboy I can enjoy a good roasting of it.

Hey listen, i say this as someone who loved DOTM.. but it is really irritating that when you disagree with someone, they are "wrong". This writer's opinions, tabiturf and hupla's opinions, your opinions, and my opinions, by their very nature cannot be right or wrong.

I agree she was being snide because "it's cool to be snide" on twitter. i also think that if someone has no interest in what's going on in the movie, they will start picking on it just out of boredom. This is true of any movie.

but yeah, i notice that a lot with your posts - when you disagree with them, you simply say that what they're saying is wrong, and a lot of time it's not - it's just a matter of opinion.
