Well it is finally time to see if this show actually has transformers or not. Still say it is a clips show with the live action monster wrestling thrown in..

 

Well loks like i was wrong.. Full episodes it seems. Today it is Beast Wars pt 1! Also looks like either Energon or Armada is also one of the show they will air.. Saldy that Bedamon crap was also shown in the opening..

 

and BDamon is now showing.. Saw some clips of Cybertron. The Kaiju is just plain stupid IMO..

Yup. FULL episodes. For commercials they showed the Cybertron opening, BeDamon opening and some clips from Cybertron.. Not bad.. Why they put Bedamon in it i have no idea..

What did the "Kaiju" bit end up being? Was it really just Kaiju Big Battel?

 

Looked like the cheap wrestling video but the guys are in monster costumes. One looked like a can of soup the other looked like a sea urchin/cucumber type thing. The fough in a steel cage. It was lame.. Two moronic hosts. The Transformers part was great though..

one odd thing i saw/heard in the quick clips of Cybertron was when Megatron beats up Leobreaker it sounded like someone slapping someone. Think it was added SFX..

 

That does sound like Big Battel... which I'm not really a fan of. If I want to see giant monsters duke it out, I'll stick to Godzilla movies and Ultraman, thank you very much, not wrestling in what look like hand-made suits.

 

Acton Blast is definatly something new. It's a purchased block of air time.... think infomercial... but with a program. It's a very long Hasbro commercial.

Indeed the second clip they showed of Cybertron had the Megatron bitch slap... it was funny as hell!

I wonder if Hasbro has picked up Kaiju Big Battel. I'll admit I'd find some of those characters cool as figures.

This really opens the door to a new type of programing for toy orinted cartoons. I hope this Action Blast can stay on the air for a long time. It would be a great way for Hasbro to control their properties.

 

WWE is still more gimmicky.

I actually scanned through the show because I wasn't sure if I could sit there and watch it, and Beast Wars was pretty boring for the first season. After looking at their website, I'm starting to really like the concept. I might buy a DVD just to check it out.

 

Well episode 2 aired today. Had BW pt 2 on and second episode of BeDamon.. and the SAME kaiju match..

also noticed something. In the pile of toys between the two hosts there is a Supreme Cyb. Starscream..

 

I got up to watch it this morning, ah the goodness of the best damn TF show to be on air again, so nice, i've missed my beast bots.
