Yeah. It's too bad I suck at painting and ended up with bubbles. Too many layers of paint and not thin enough... Aw well. One day I'll redo him from a Sideswipe mold I think.

Hey XSilverboltX, I finished mine about a month ago but I had to go to school out of state and didn't get a chance to post before then. Just wanted to show off my interpretation of this awesome set you put out (for some odd reason I cannot post threads here in the Radicons anymore, so my intent is not to hijack this thread but to show my appreciation for the artist) Great job on this set my friend, the Headmaster alone is worth it! Just in case anyone was wondering, those are G1 stickers applied to this guy.

Wow, had no clue the G1 stickers would go on there. Awesome!

I love how you matched the G1 color style so well. The figure looks a lot better that way. I'll redo mine since I just hate the paint job I did. Fantastic work!

Any chance you could re-upload the larger version of this?

I ordered the currently available one in White Strong and Flexible Polished, and it was a train wreck. It kept breaking during production and ended up taking a month to get finished, and when it did arrive it had two of the same arms, the ball sockets were all molded half-shut from extra material inside them, the ball joints were all too large to fit in the sockets except for one, and the stem of an arm joint tore itself apart when I rotated the arm. I suspect the small size combined with the polishing process and repeated production is what did it in. I really want to enjoy this design, especially after having it in hand, so if you could please re-upload the larger version of it I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks for letting me know.

Actually, because of Shapeways new crapstacular policies on parts printing, I was considering simply removing all my models from there. I can't even print out the sword I made for my TFCon Stronghold anymore, due to their new restrictions and stuff. Hearing that it's just getting worse and worse for size and shape frustrates me.

I don't have the upscaled model anymore, so I'll see if I can boost the scale of the converted mesh. That being said, it's likely it'll take me a while to get around to it as I've sort of lost interest in 3D printing.

Thanks. Sorry to hear about them being a butt. It sucks when a bit of creative fun gets screwed up by business junk.

Good news for you then! Turns out I'd kept the Big Mode version's .dae file. It's back up if you want it!

    Model | Shapeways

I haven't tested it at all so I can't tell you how it will print.

Sorry that I'm a little late to the game, but what are the new terrible Shapeways policies that affect this? (Serious question)

Huh, got a notice that the bigger one can't be printed in the White Strong Flexible Polished that I ordered, an got credit back for it. Ordered the White Strong Flexible instead. Hopefully it works in that material.

There you go, this is what happens all the time now for WSF orders. And yet people have ordered them, myself included. I'll try and fix it soon, but it's really demotivating.

Mostly, they don't print one order at atime like they used to. They do batches and if your order might delay someone else's order in the same batch, they take you out of the batchand cancel your order. Before, when it was one order at a time, the operator would pay attention to his work. Now, it's geared for bulk instead or custom.

I mean they could easily transfer your order to a controlled batch instead of an automated one instead of cancelling. That way evryone's happy.

Just arrived this hour. Shoulder ball joints need some tightening, but otherwise it's absolutely flawless. Excellent work on this.
