I just received the custom sticker set from Reprolabels.com for the Generation 2 Laser Optimus Prime chest windows and shoulders. It brings a choice of solid blue or blue with glare for the chest windows and solid blue, solid red or blue with glare for the shoulders. Which combination is best? I'm really torn. If anyone has any pics, I would appreciate a visual reference. Thanks in advance for all of your help. Below is the link to the set for those that are not aware of it.

Solid blue chest windows and solid red on the arms IMHO.

 

Agreed. The fake sheen on the other windows looks cheesy, and the red shoulders will give a more traditional color balance for the character.

 

Thanks for the advice guys. I think that I will go with the blue chest and red shoulders as you recommended. Either way, anything is better than a chest with his name on it. Everytime I see those G2 chests on both Primes I think of the "Hello my name is..." stickers that people use at meetings.

 

Yeah exactly... him and the G2 Megs having their names all over them always cracked me up. Especially "Megatron Rocks!"  

 

I really wish they would do a simple recolor of this sticker sheet for RID Scourge.

I've asked, and they basically said "Too much trouble/wouldn't sell" and then when I emailed them a photoshopped copy of the label showing how easy it would be, they ignored me.

For crying out loud, just a simple Hue adjustment would make it close enough!

 

That is odd, I thought they would at least do custom versions of things on request (albeit for a higher fee).
