It's a nice package, very close to the original. Too bad I got 2 of the RiD Scourges so I will pass on this.

 

Hrm... still don't know if the paint apps are different enough to warent getting this reissue when I've already got the original... eh... maybe I'll still get him. I'm a sucker for that mould... for... obvious reasons of course.

 

Glad I'm getting this, though I still like the look of the ReproLabels on G2 Prime. I won't change the original, and I'm saddened this Prime has the labels pre-applied. Well, maybe I'll give in and get Magnus and use the ReproLabels on him!

Well...it's a little better than the original, but still a missed opportunity. Doubly so since they E-hobby repaint was wasted on a dubious Magnus paint job.

 

I just realized it kinda looks like they took parts of Scourge and parts of Laser Prime and merged the two. Kinda neat.

 

I'm glad I cancelled my preorder on this one I already have two G2 Laser Primes one mint in the box and the other open. I would have liked to have seen a G1 paint scheme on this one.

 

Hmmm. I'm not sure what I think of this. On the one hand, it's pretty much identical to the original packaging (which I own). On the other hand, all the changed they have made to it stop it being a "reissue" in my eyes. (yes, I know Star Convoy's colours were altered, but I didn't HAVE Star Convoy).

 

Could this be photoshopped? In the past these pics showed up in China first, not in Japan.
And many fans from the Japanese board also think it could be a fake.

also,It doesn't say "Reissue Edition" on the box...

 

So this could be a nice custom? Hmmmm.
