The reason it's not been available for a couple years already, though, is because Shawn kindly requested that they NOT be reproduced when I discussed the possibility with him. I know that doesn't matter to a lot of folks, but...

 

Seeing as only 30 people were in the class, and well over a 100+ have repainted a Classics Lambo mold into Black Sideswipe, this can only be a good thing. I'm in for a few sets.

As with any other official product, if it's not longer available through normal channels, I have no problem buying a KO. It's a great design, and lots of customizers try to make one themselves.

 

It's a dollar more in shipping then reprolabels

 

RL is a flat rate, just changing the quantity on this to two pushed the price of shipping to $7.40.

 

I've seen these stickers floating around on taobao for quite some time now, now if I could find the kit for less than $250

Just got mine through, like I said, I wasn't happy with the shipping price, but I am really bummed out to get them through the post and find out they are uncut.

It doesn't actually mention they are UNCUT anywhere in the listing, to be fair, it doesn't say they are cut, to be fair, but for the price I expected more.

For anyone wanting a version of this mold to be released in black, well CHMS released a (floppy piece of shit) DIY one, but you'd need to swap out the white arms and thighs from a regular Sideswipe (for stability and accuracy), and you'd still need to repaint the head and hips.
To be honest, this is the easiest mold to use for a first custom attempt, so people should just go for it.

 

It does say he will combine shipping. I'm going to get a few sets... and ask if he can make a better deal on shipping.

 

I see he has lots of positive feedback on the sales of this set. Did anyone get them and made a custom?

 

Really? Where can I buy one? I've never seen it before.

I really only want it for the greenish windshield part, so I don't mind if its a little floppy overall.

 

The first release of the CHSM Deep Cover was very floppy yes, but like all CHSM toys the quality improved greatly with the second release. Try to get ahold of the re-release of Deep Cover, like this one:

Oh, I know about Deepcover. I thought he was talking about a G2 DIY kit. I need it mainly for the windshield.

 

Those are the new mold too? Sorry, I wasn't sure, because I didn't see it mentioned. Yes, that's the better price, and I hear that store is very reliable. ;-)
