I was hoping for a lot more than this. When I saw the pic I thought it was old news.

 

I got it from a preview thread...this is not the actual full reveal. At least I don't think it is.

You and me both. Seibertron has some pre show pics and has the cards for all the 3rd party tables.

P.S. Fansproject is at this show but I knew that the moment Maketoys was announced to be there.

MMC has two glass displays so hopefully we will see both Sixshoty AND CYCLOPS???

I'm very excited for this show to begin.

They said they would have a prototype by now. If they tried pushing it back a year then that would be just shooting themselves in the foot.

 

wasnt there suppose to be a full proto of the ani menasor? another year kind of sucks. time will tell i guess.

gives me a chance to get a second botcon set now since prices are pretty steady. but i think a year from now ppl might not care anymore about the menasor kit as animated is pretty much done now.

Agreeing with most--the head looks good, but a year out for the set is a pretty good nail in the coffin. It's really too bad they showed up and all they had was the head piece. Animated is getting further back in people's mind the more time goes on. They might want to consider stepping that up if they want to keep interest, because I've got a set and I'm thinking of selling it off at this point.

The Sixshot pics, however, look TERRIFIC. I will most likely be after that one, depending on price.

 

So....animated is getting back there in peoples minds....but G1? PERFECT time to release it! LOL

 

A tree survives the loss of branches but never the roots.

G1 is the roots of the franchise, Animated is merely a branch and is prone to being lost in the suffle of the rest of the series or the newest series.

 

Also everyone remember that G1Uppers said back in August

"we still have a lot to do on this, as it is going to be something special... "
