"Profiles in History", an auction house that deals with entertainment memorabilia, had posted their catalog for their upcoming Animation auction. Transformers G1 cels are included in the auction, as well as G.I.Joe storyboards and Disney stuff.

Catalog can be seen online (Flash required) here: https://profilesinhistory.com/auctions/animation-disneyana-auction-99/

Transformers G1 cels can be seen on pages 83-84 in said catalog.

    Ebay:
Upwards of $1000 for a literal one in a millions item seems a tad much to me.

Problem is, most didn't survive, most likely. There aren't millions left. Also, this one also comes with it's background, which is a lot less likely to have survived alongside the appropriate cel.

Like, don't get me wrong, its a lot of ask, but it's not necessarily something that there's whole crates of lying around anymore. (Frankly I think those Sunbow Storyboards the page before are a lot cooler)

There's a ton of neat and/or weird stuff in this auction, they even have a signed copy of Disney's Will!

Alas, no GoBots. I've been lucky to own a couple cels from that show. The animator's desk they're selling would be awesome to have if I had that kind of money laying around.

Yeah, that struck me as a halfway decent deal, as far as antique furniture with history goes.
