Beautiful upgrade. Can anyone confirm if this will work on the KO NBK? Love to know. :)

For what it's worth, I was able to transplant the original Gravity Builder head onto the NBK version, though it needed some disassembly. So I'm pretty confident that this head should also work on NBK GB.

Here it is on my GB/NBK Frankenstein (Crane is GT, the rest is NBK).

    What kind of disassembly?

The only thing I'm sketchy on fitting is the chest.

To install the new head, the old head must be disassembled (by removing the two screws at the back of the head) to expose the neck piece. Here it is on GT Crane. Then it's just a matter of popping on the new head onto the neck piece. The new head doesn't need to be disassembled.

The neckpiece on NBK Crane is very similar, but the ends are different. I tried popping on the new head on this neck, and I couldn't do it. I might need to snip off those ends for it to work.

Could you show us the piece that covers the fist in order to attach the drill? Would it be compatible with Combiner Wars Devastator's fist?

Here you go. I'm not sure if it will fit CW Devy, I don't have one.

So I snipped off the ends of NBK GB's neck, and the new head now fits on it, although it's a bit loose. And since I don't have plans on using the light gimmick, I painted the visor red.

Here's the new head on GT Gravity Builder.

How does the upgrades work in hand? I have read that they make it unstable, especially the drill as the hand cant hold its weight (which doesn't seem like it in your pics). Also, how is the plastic compared to the original toy?

Sorry man, my Gravity Builder is mostly KO, so I'm assuming its joints are looser than the originals as is. That said, the drills ARE heavy, and my GB couldn't wield them in dynamic poses. But the plastic quality is fine, I think.

No problem. From the orientation of the thing on my pic, height is 3.3cm, width 2.7cm and the height of the gap on the right is 1.9cm.

I was really excited about this kit. It's unfortunate that most of the stuff that came with it didn't work very well with my mostly KO Gravity Builder. Nonetheless, I'm very, very happy with the head.

How's the head look on Crane in alt and bot modes?

I have NBK also, but I hated the NBK Hook so much (hideous front end, un-Hook-like faceplate, etc) that I bought the slightly different JJ version. I cobbled together a new Hook made from the JJ head, front-end (i.e., bot legs), and crane control/Dev head assembly, combined with the NBK trunk and arms. I think the JJ Dev head assembly is more similar to the original GT version, so I'm optimistic that I can make it work.

Looks really nice, but drills look too big. I'll skip that part lol

Clearly not designed for either of those two. I was hoping to have a head that integrated better than the current one.

It almost seems like the NBK head would work better, but I doubt it can attach to the real Crane correctly.

    Thanks, btw.
